Excellent Break From Normal FPS

Though not perfect, Far Cry 2 delievers a solid foundation on this new take on the FPS genre. The "go anywhere, do anything" way of life is quite exciting. The weapons, vehicles, and upgrades are nicely done and the enviroment is just a tad behind only Crysis in beauty yet doesn't take a supercomputer to max everything out. As for gameplay, the AI becomes predictable after only about 4 hours of play. Whiles this doesn't ruin the fun, it does border on repition unless you experiment with the different weapons and attack things different. If you don't do that, then your game will not be as fun as it could be. Overall, this game is a must for anyone looking for a different take on the FPS gamestyle.
What's great about it: A beautiful break from the normal Point A to Point B FPS.
What's not so great: AI is sometimes easy to overcome; not a lot of variety in AI characters
Whiskeytown's music always makes me want to just get in the car and drive till the CD is over. Another excellent production and anyone who is a fan of Ryan Adams will instantly love this as well.
