Annuals Be He Me

I've never heard this kind of talent out of NC before, until I purchased Be He Me at BestBuy the other day. This band layers many sounds where it seems for one of the few times where the lyrics are not the most prominent part of the song. Many arrangements were made by Adam Baker and Annuals; including an entire span of keyboard sounds and guitar progressions. With songs at times that are eerie, and sometimes light and warm. This band focuses on the music taking the listener to a more surreal state of thinking, where relaxation is easy to come by. I'm astounded by this band and hope to see them play live soon. They have already made an appearance on Conan O' Brien, and are currently touring with The Manchester Orchestra. Go see them and pick up an album as it is definitely worth the price.
