Best Album So Far
on January 18, 2008

This album was fantastic. Chris Brown really stepped it up this time around with his vocal and his writing skills. He even co-produced. What I like the most is that every song has a different feel to it. There is everything on the album from R&B, Pop, Rock, Soul, and Hip Hop. I love his collaborations as well. My favorite collaborations are with Will I Am and Big Boi. Overall this album really shows his maturity
What's great about it: Variety of genres
What's not so great: none

Falls through the cracks

This album was okay, but not great. The best thing about it is his voice is amazing. I love how he has so much range in his voice, and his falsetto is incredible. The first song "GO" will throw you off because there is a lot of cursing in it which seems unusual. The beats are also pretty good, and the lyrics are okay, but what makes this album not so great is the arrangement of the songs. there is nothing that's catchy at all. I like how he did a remake on the album as well. Overall he is a great artist but i think he needs to step it up like the rest of the male R&B singers. I do reccomend this to a friend because i want them to develop their own opinion.
What's great about it: His voice
What's not so great: not enough variety

Best Perfomance DVD I've ever purchased

WOW! this dvd was absolutely amazing. from the beginning to the end, it was full of electrifying performances. I love how she took songs that you thought u knew exactly what she was going to do and she surprised you. She also did a good job singing jill scott's song "He loves me" and she sounded better than gnarls barkley when she sang "crazy". It was great to see what she did with her new songs. she also put a great twist on her older material. One of my favorite parts is when she imitates the horns in "naughty girl" with her voice, it is amazing. I also really enjoyed her performance of "Flaws and All" she started crying and it just showed how much emotion she puts into her performances. The only thing i had a problem with is during the Destiny's Child medley she didnt have kelly and michelle singing even though they were there, and sometimes i felt the band was too loud and it got hard to hear her sometimes. otherwise, it was an amazing show and i would love to come close to that one day myself.
What's great about it: Performs all of her popular songs
What's not so great: Sometimes the band seemed louder than her

Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams (aka Destiny's Child), offer a spectacular stage show that's sure to impress in this release of a concert featuring all of the decadent dancing and soulful songs that shot the trio to the top of the charts. In addition to such instantly recognizable hits such as "Bootylicious", "Say My Name", and "Survivor", Destiny's Child is also joined by a series of talented special guests including Kelly Rowland, T.I., and Lil' Wayne. The bonus documentary "Destiny's Child - A Family Affair" is also included, as are fan testimonials, a teaser for Rowland's sophomore release, and movie and soundtrack trailers for the 2006 theatrical release Dreamgirls.

What A Finale!!!

OMG! This was an amazing way to put this group to rest. They perform all their hit songs, and they even do some of their solo songs. They had a bunch of outfit changes and they actually sang LIVE for the most part. Michelle even had all the choreography down....lol. Kelly's voice was so powerful and she was so much more confiedent. Of course we all know Ms. Sasha didn't dissapoint. She was workin that stage like she has never done before, But her performance of "Dangerously In Love" was incredible. Overall if you are a fan u have to go get it, and if you weren't ever really a fan of DC you will be once you watch this DVD.
What's great about it: They perform all their hit songs
What's not so great: Some songs are shortened

Great Buy

This was a great album especially if you saw the movie. Any song you can think of that you liked from the movie is on this CD. Even the white people's version of Cadilac car is on there......lol. My favorite song of course is And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going. I also love Listen because Beyonce is my favorite artist. The only thing i didn't like is that Beyonce couldn't really shine because of the way she had to sing in the movie, but there is a great duet with Jamie foxx that she has that's incredible and shows the real Beyonce not Deena. Overall this album will keep you laughing, singing along, tapping your feet, and remembering your favorite parts from the movie.
What's great about it: 20 tracks
What's not so great: none

OMG! what a way to end Destiny's Child. This album was incredible from start to finish. Although it's pretty all R&B and little pop, it's still an album everyone should have. The ladies show their growth on this album, and the best part is you can hear everyone in the group even michelle has a part in every song....lol my favorite songs are the singles of course and "IF"
What's great about it: Songs are more Mature
What's not so great: only 11 tracks

Well Worth My $

This album was overall a great project. Rihanna really showed that she can break that pretty girl image and really get edgy. She took bits and pieces of Rock, R&B, Reggae, and a little bit of Hip Hop. She also has some great samples on some of her songs. It's a real feel good kind of album except for the last three songs which are more serious. I only have two things that bother me a little bit. One is that she doesn't write at all I mean NOTHING!, and the other thing is the tracks that Ne-yo produce sound like his song " sexy love" and Beyonce's "Irreplaceable". But overall you have to get this album there is definitely a song for everyone my two favorite tracks are "breaking dishes" and "Question Existing".
What's great about it: Wide Variety of Music for everyone
What's not so great: Only 12 tracks

OMG, where do i start. the only thing i like about this album are the beats, and her two singles Torn, and She Dont. the rest of this album is so annoying. i'm a huge destin's child fan so i decided to give her a chance and boy was i sorry. her style is very different from DC but its just horrible. Everything from her tone to her lyrics are bad. I have to say she has the MOST ANNOYING ADLIBS i have ever heard in my life. they are so random and weird. I mean it was a number one album but i believe that's only because of who her name was attached to(Beyonce) People save your money and buy B'Day or ms Kelly....lol
What's great about it: She has two good songs
What's not so great: everything else sucks

Dangerously In Love with this album

WOW! this album was amazing. It starts out with all the tracks everyone knows from the radio like crazy in love, naughty girl, and baby boy, but then the album slows down with some smooth R&B tracks that she used a lot of music from the 70's on. She has tracks where she's belting it out like you've never heard her and she also has some tracks that are so smooth you could fall asleep too. My favorite track on this album is a song called "Speechless" it's the longest song on the album about 6 minutes and she will have you speechless with the ridiculously amazing high note at the end of the song. she also did the remake of the closer i get to you with Luther Vandross, which is one of the last tracks he recorded before he died. this album is a very classic album that i still love today
What's great about it: Wide variety of genres on one album
What's not so great: only a few up-tempo tracks

Best Album Yet

This album was simply incredible. Don't expect a "Dangerously In Love" 2 because this was totally different from that album. she's so aggressive, sassy, sexy, powerful, and even vulnerable on this album. she uses some samples from the 60's and 70's and she also had some Hot tracks from swiss beatz, Rodney Jerkins, and even Ne-yo. My favorite songs are deja vu, Green Light, Irreplaceable, and Resentment( she sang her but off on that track)
What's great about it: Total Opposite from the first
What's not so great: Only 10 tracks
