Lon Chaney's classic performance as a musician driven to madness by love and betrayal gets an aural update in this special DVD edition. This release of the 1925 silent classic The Phantom of the Opera (available in a number of different home-video editions) has been transferred to disc in the full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1. This version includes a new musical score by noted goth/industrial band Switchblade Symphony, which has been mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo. Bonus materials include a biography and discography for Switchblade Symphony, and a music video featuring the group.
