Before I got this stereo I owned 4 JVC Mini systems. Only one was worth buying and even on that one the Sub blew. I have had absolutely no problems with this system since it was purchased, and that was 2 years ago this Christmas!! Awesome Illumination displays, Kareoke, which I have not yet tried out, quick reading of cd's and playback is very smooth. It even comes with little rubber stick on feet for the speakers so they don't slide around when it's cranked all the way up. And the speaker wires clip into the back of the system like a phone cord, I thought that was really cool and makes for easier installation. It doesn't have game sync but you can still hook up your a/v audio for a DVD player, VCR, Game system or just whatever. Very crisp sound and loud bass and doesn't show fatigue distortion after long periods of playing music loud. Awesome stereo, recommend to anyone who enjoys music! It's very pleasing to the ears when tunes are heard the way they are meant to be heard!
What's great about it: oober bass and volume, with no distortion, lot's of cool features
What's not so great: No game sync and hard to keep clean haha
Trick out your ride with this dual subwoofer system that delivers rich, thick base for an intense listening experience. The Plexiglas enclosure and illumiNite light make this sub look as good as your favorite tunes will sound.

To further explain the 4 ohm thing, I've been looking for an amp that can drive these subs at there 600 watt RMS rating. I was looking for a amp that put out 600 at 2 ohms, until I found out the subs are 8 ohms each and are wired together to make 4 ohms...thats dumb. I'm a little upset, I've never even seen an 8 ohm on the maket until now. Just make sure you REALLY get the right amp, look at 4 ohm ratings not 2 ohm. It's a small thing but I already bought the Panasonic KAC-10X amp that puts 700 at 2 ohms, then I found this out...the 4 ohm rating is 350 watts...not bad but not RMS. Aside from this poooo These subs rock!!! VERY loud bass, I'm used to subs distorting a high levels but these stay true!!
