Music + Poetry = The Weakerthans

Each song on this record is written from the perspective of a fictional character. A bit more laid back than their previous efforts, but consistent in the sense that every song is a vignette filled with beautiful descriptions of people, places, and things. The one thing you can always count on from this band is they never try too hard to be 'cool.'
What's great about it: Incredible yet unpretentious lyrics
What's not so great: May take a couple listens for it to sink in
I would recommend this to a friend!
