Cook food quickly with this Cuisinart 6-qt. electric pressure cooker. A lid that tightly locks in place keeps food moist and flavorful even after pressure is released, while cooking settings are conveniently activated at the push of a button. This Cuisinart 6-qt. electric pressure cooker features cool-touch side handles to avoid the risk of injury.
I tried another brand and loved it too but it died after 90 days.
This one has a 3 year warranty and has protection circuit features which keep it from overheating if what your cooking cooks down too low on water so that your bean soup sticks a little to the bottom. With the Cuisinart it senses this and shuts off whereas the other brand just dies.
If you research electric pressure cookers you'll find that many brands don't last that long. I highly recommend this one. I get a full freshly cooked meal in 45 minutes from start to finish.
Protect your devices from power surges and minor fluctuations with this APC AV power conditioner. It incorporates a battery backup so that you can continue to play devices even should the power fail, and adjustable voltage sensitivity lets you use this APC AV power conditioner with a generator for portable device protection.

At the sale price I got this at it's a 5 star rating and I have confirmed replacement batteries will be available in January of 2012.
This unit has been dead quiet so far and is a welcome addition to my HT. BTW....I''m too cheap to have paid full price and did get it surprisingly cheap.
One curiosity....the manual says the warranty is 3 years but the guy I spoke with on the phone at APC said 2 years sooooo, just remember the warranty is 3 years if you have to use it and call in. The battery is also covered in the warranty.
What's great about it: Great sale price, it does the job and runs quiet.
