The Alienware Orion backpack keeps all gear secure and protected on the go. The backpack's heavily-padded, subdivided main compartment easily holds up to two 17" notebooks. A secondary compartment contains 10 other pockets to hold anything from pens to CDs to plane tickets to MP3 players.
Overall, this has been a great investment for my 17.3" Toshiba laptop. However my only concern is that I do use it when traveling overseas frequently to visit friends and relatives, and with no method of securing the zippers (particularly to the center section where the laptop is stowed), it's easy when on a crowded subway or bus and you're standing, for someone else to easily access the interior of the bag without being noticed (as I found out on the Underground in London a couple of weeks ago, although they didn't manage to steal anything thanks to an alert commuter on the train). This led to me wearing the bag frontside when traveling in crowded areas.
All in all though, a great investment minus the ability to secure access from the zippers.
What's great about it: Durable, lightweight and distributes weight evenly to shoulder straps.
What's not so great: Zippers can't be locked, particularly on the laptop zipper.
