The first time I saw this adaptation of "A Christmas Carol" I was pleasantly surprised by the different approach this version presented. Henry Winkler plays "Benedict Slade" which in this version is a Scrooge type character who is a heartless finance company president in 1932 during the Depression in the North East of the U.S. The premise of the movie is basically the same as the other Christmas Carols, Scrooges etc. Mr. Slade get's visited by three ghosts that try to reverse his pattern of not caring and plain old meanness into a person with a heart after Mr. Slade goes on a repossession run by seizing his clients furniture, clothing, jewelry and anything of value to collect on unpaid loans. Henry does an excellent job portraying this "Scrooge" type without over doing it, along with the rest of the cast. It's a movie the entire family can enjoy from the youngest to the oldest. Enjoy.

What's great about it: A different view of a classic holiday movie.
John McLane is at it again, although this time his side kick is Justin Long, AKA the kid from the PC vs. Mac commercials! Justin is rather good in this 4th edition of the Die Hard series! As it would be, having Justin Long as the main character means the plot is centered around Computers, the Internet and it's security. Both Justin Long and Bruce Willis put in excellent action scenes along with some pretty funny ones also.
Live Free or Die Hard gets an A+.....
What's great about it: Great action and the plot is excellent
Keep cool with this portable air conditioner that features electronic controls and a remote for easy use. The 425 sq. ft. cooling capacity keeps a medium-size room comfortable.

Hello all,
If you are thinking about purchasing this unit or any portable unit, take my advice. Don't!! these units do not cool down a room, heck, it doesn't even make the room comfortable. it is 97 degree's in my bedroom. This unit has been running none stop for 3 days now and it has not cool it down or make it comfortable to sleep in. We had to have our fan on as well. these units are a piece of junk. The government should have them stop making these units because you are paying for something that doesn't work properly. You are probably wondering how big is my bedroom, well, it's almost a 12x9 room. tomorrow, I will complain to the company.

First, you have to use the exhaust ducting and it has to be ducted outside the room you're cooling or you are just recirculating the hot air and it will never cool down! Read the instructions. This unit works great, as I said, all you have to do Is follow the instructions and make sure you VENT THE EXHAUST DUCT OUT OF THE ROOM YOU'RE COOLING! If you don't do this.....You are doing it wrong.
I'm cooling a very large game room that's 16' x 28', as long as I keep the doors closed from the rest of the house and the windows closed it stays very cool even when there are 10-15 people using the room. I have this unit ducted through a hole I cut in a wall that goes into my laundry/utility room that has a good venting fan that I turn on when using the A/C in the game room to keep the heat down in the laundry room. AGAIN, you have to use the ducting and you have to vent it out of the room you're trying to cool or it aint gonna work! Use your noggin!
