Remember the 90's?

Remember the 1990's awesome action movies? This brings that feeling back. I told my buddy before we saw it in the theater - "Are you ready for Gerard Butler to kill EVERYONE?"
I was right. Always nice to see some special forces guy come out of retirement and destroy the bad guy. Classic action film, with classic action plot.
Main hero is struggling with an issue that takes him out of the game, he has an opportunity to redeem himself etc.. etc.. gets a load of punishment from the bad guys, but ultimately... you know the rest.
Gotta watch it, gotta love it, if you enjoyed any action movie in the 90's.
What's great about it: Destruction
What's not so great: Cerberus Codes

I am a big RE fan, and have been since the first installment. I am reading a lot of negative feedback about how the game isn't a survival horror anymore and lacks puzzles. This is partially true, but I wouldn't think a game would be virtually the same for over a decade. I am happy with how RE5 was, and RE6 plays the same but its not the same story line over and over. I already played as Chris on professional difficulty and it was interesting to see where the game play over laps in regards to the storyline when I met up with Leon or Jake.
There is a slight adjustment of playing from Chris to Jake because Chris is more of a get ammo and blast your way through 5 chapters.. but he is a BSAA agent thats hunting bad guys.. it only makes sense. With Jake it is more of a survival but some gunning because of his situation (won't give anything away).
All in all, if you liked RE5, you will enjoy RE6.
What's great about it: Multiple Stories
What's not so great: Gameplay style adjustments

MW3 is a quality shooter game. The dynamics have not changed much from MW2 (guns handle better, weapon models look better, .50 cal kills people, etc.). If you judge this game only on its hype, then yes it is a let down.
If you judge this game on your memories of MW2 then you will definitely enjoy this one. Hype aside this game is fun, just like the other MW games have been.

City > Asylum

Arkham Asylum put together various different styles of gameplay that allowed players to have a freeflowing fight, level up, and solve puzzles the entire game. Arkham City does that, but with more abilities, tricks, and free roaming around a massive city. Reminded me of GTA free roaming with mini objectives and side missions.
There is a new side mission called AR Training that makes you practice your abilities and take them to a whole new level. It unlocks more gadgets for you to use.
Graphics, story, gameplay - amazing.
If you loved Arkham Asylum, you will LOVE Arkham City.
What's great about it: Arkham Asylum made better
What's not so great: Learning to navigate Arkham City

Great For Guitar Players

Want a game that's actually Guitar Hero? Rocksmith. I have played guitar for about 10 years, and I play drums in a band. I got through expert mode on every Guitar Hero game and learned absolutely nothing other than how to hit 5 buttons.
Rocksmith came along and actually provided a challenge, and is also a teaching tool for anyone who wants to progressively learn guitar.
You can target areas you are struggling in regardless of your skill level, and the game's difficulty changes as you play to adjust to you, instead of hitting pause to put it on Medium, or easy.
I love the game, and I played it for over 2 hours a day both days I've owned it. I highly recommend this game for people looking for a video game that you can actually get real like rewards from instead of a level up online. Its about time.
What's great about it: Teaching Tool, Great Music, Freeflow Difficulty
What's not so great: Nothing as of yet

Diablo on Ps3

This game is pretty dang cool. I played Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 on the PC/MAC and this is pretty comparable to those games. The depth is not as deep as in customizing armor and what not, but traveling through hell and punishing demons is pretty sweet.
What's great about it: Upgrading Unholy/Holy Moves
What's not so great: Button Mashing at times

A very enjoyable game

This game is one of the most solid through and through games i've had the pleasure of purchasing. I was very skeptical at first about buying a Batman game especially since there was no online aspect. Every game I own has online playability except this one... but this game is better than all of those. The fun factor for this game is comparable to COD4, Fight Night Round 4, GTA4. Definitely one of the top titles. The game is good enough to where I logged onto here and wrote a review.
What's great about it: Wonderful Learning Curve, Introduces New Items Constantly
What's not so great: None I am aware of... seriously...

Puzzle Game

FNR4 is FNR3 with things taken out and other worthless stuff added in. I have beaten the game on legacy mode and gotten most of the achievements on my 360. Online is a joke with the way the blocking system is set up. I was 48-4 ranked in the top 600 on heavyweight so I'm not too terrible at the game. The physics are cool but the reality of a boxing simulator isn't there at all really. There is no parry system only a perfect block system high or low. There are feet glitches where people online stick to you (glued feet). FNR4 took spam punchers to a whole new level. Good job EA on making FNR3 again, but worse.
What's great about it: Fun against the computer
What's not so great: Changes from FNR3 that were not needed
