The 2-Disc Collector's Edition of Paul Thomas Anderson's brilliant There Will Be Blood, the first of 2007's Best Picture nominees to receive the multiple DVD treatment, offers a superb transfer, a fact that should come as no surprise to those aware of Anderson's admiration for DVD. Although some may quibble with there being only eight chapter stops for a 160-minute film, the truth is that each of the eight has been perfectly chosen and titled, so viewers can find what they need easily. The most interesting of the extras on the bonus disc is "The Story of Petroleum," a silent movie from the 1920s made to educate the public about various aspects of the oil industry. Jonny Greenwood, whose musical compositions contributed greatly to the overall effect of Anderson's film, created a wholly new soundtrack for this nearly 100-year-old short. Another portion of the bonus disc showcases old movies, drawings, and still pictures from the time period juxtaposed with scenes from the film. This section illuminates the level of research done by the filmmakers. The collector's edition also includes the original theatrical trailer, as well as the absolutely brilliant teaser trailer. There are a smattering of deleted scenes, the longest being the "fishing sequence," wherein the audience sees Daniel Plainview and his crew attempt to recover materials lost down the well during drilling. Those who care about the remarkable craft and intelligence that went into this amazing film will find the two-disc edition as fascinating as the movie itself.

I loved this movie, Daniel Day Lewis really earned his academy award with this one. The acting was extremely good, one of the best movies of 2007 and will definetly last through time, this one will never get old.
What's great about it: Great Acting, setting was very realistic, good story
This movie right from the start set the tone as something different, going with the first person camera view. The reactions from people where pretty realistic as to what people would do in real life if this happened. This non-stop ride keeps you on edge till the very end, this is what a Godzilla movie should have been, however I am pretty impressed with this movie and if they can continue the story I think a sequel is warranted.
What's great about it: Realistic, best monster movie of the 2000's
What's not so great: A little shaky but not as bad as other movies done this way
This movie was dark and hard to follow in the movie theatres, but on blu-Ray it is a lot brighter and you really can see what the directors were trying to do. This movie was non-stop action and had much more gore then the first movie, much better done. The predalien really played an active role, This movie sets the stage for AVP 3 and that one should be even better then the second. I would definatly recommend you go out and buy this movie on Blu-Ray it is worth it!
What's great about it: Action, Gore, intensity everything the movie needed to keep you interested
This movie was horrible, no repeat actors from the first movie. this should be considered a sci-fi original, you can tell this was a low-budget film that never should have been made.
