Great Scanner for all films
on February 12, 2009

I've used one of these scanners in college multiple times and was very satisfied with the quality of the scans. I scanned 35mm, Medium Format and Large Format film in it and all came out very nice. I used Photoshop to do any necessary post processing but the quality was amazing, was able to print at very very large sizes with all the scans, up to 3 feet with one 35mm scan I believe.
Flatbed scanners will have dust issues of course, keep a microfiber cloth handy to clean everything off but other than that I was very impressed with the quality.
I am ordering mine today from a local Best Buy as I've got about a year worth of film that needs to be scanned!
What's great about it: Great image quality, Very affordable
What's not so great: none that aren't with every flatbed scanner
I would recommend this to a friend!

great and simple

I bought this because I needed a network printer and had no need for an all in one. I've had it for a day or two so I can not speak to the toner cartridge issue i've heard about, but I set it up with the driver software from brother.com. after installing the drivers on both my macs I plugged in the printer with ethernet cable went in system prefs and clicked the add button. 10 minutes total time to setup this printer on two macs, can not beat that. It's been working great, highly recommend this
What's great about it: brain free setup, cheap printer, networking!!!
What's not so great: black and white only....but not really a bad thing

Very Funny

I found this movie to be very very funny. The movie is not high art or genius, it just made me laugh very hard for the entire film. If you watch Adult Swim's "Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job" and enjoy John C Riley's character in that, I think you'll love him in this. Will ferrel is his usual self. So many great parts in this movie.
What's great about it: Very funny,
What's not so great: none

Great Purchase

Bought these yesterday at a local Best Buy, I had read a lot of good things about them and had demoed them once before.
I am very satisfied in the quality of the product, folds up and connects very solid. included case also felt very well made.
I plugged them into my iPhone and was, as expected, very impressed by the sound quality. Bass is great along with the clarity on just about any type of music.
Sound isolation works very well, had trouble hearing people just a few feet away and at one time had to be grabbed to know someone was trying to get my attention.
I am very very happy with my purchase, right now listening to modest mouse and every bass drum kick sounds loud and clear along with all of their highs!
What's great about it: Sound, Bass, Storage Case, iPhone in call support
What's not so great: fingerprint magnet, nothing

In addition, there is an extra pocket for files or accessories and even a side pocket for your water bottle. function before style

I picked this bag up about 9 months ago and have no complaints about it functionally, pockets hold a lot of things, headphone port for ipod/cd player in outside pocket, waist straps for extra support, holds my 15" macbook pro well. Don't care for the style, but use it because it protects my things well enough and holds everything I need for school.
