Amazing HDTV for the price!

For the cost of this HDTV I got a picture that looks better than the Pioneer KURO I was so snobbish about for the past 5 years. After getting this out of the box, I was very surprised ay how light it is. The design of this TV makes it look exactly like a 39" computer monitor, but don't be scared off by that. The picture is incredible. We put it on Braveheart, then Pixar Cars, then TRON Legacy, then some documentary on the Nature channel and everything we looked at was so spectacular I was even in awe over a lipstick commercial... the reds are unbelievable. To think this TV is at this price and it's a Samsung, that's all I needed to know before purchasing it, and I was not disappointed. Also, people are complaining in the reviews about no audio out. For this price, I can't complain about anything. I have the TV connected through HDMI and have the audio coming from the separate audio outs on the cable box to the receiver.
What's great about it: Excellect picture, easy to set up, fantasitc price
Most Christmas specials are disappointing. This one is not. The songs are fresh and funny. I have not loved a Christmas special like this since the South Park Christmas Special (Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics, not the others). I was crying from laughing so hard at one point (Toby Keith song). All the songs were good. The Nutmeg one was the weakest, but still good. Feist has an amazing voice. Elvis Costello (Declan McManus Pippigomerrybuttons) was excellent as well. Willie Nelson was perfect, and thank you Jon Stewart for teaching us what Hanukkah really means. I may even eat a potato pancake this year.
What's great about it: Best Christmas special in a long time, great original songs
The silly sci-fi comedy section on your DVD shelf just got bigger, thanks to the hot Ice Pirates DVD from the fine folk at Warner Bros. Presented in its widescreen debut on the home screen, the 1.85:1 anamorphic image now delivers even more Ron Perlman and Robert Urich action in your own living room. The colors are rich, if not a bit dark during frequent moments in the film. Unfortunately, you won't be able to hear the dreaded Space Herpies in anything more than a Dolby Digital mono signal, a detriment that affects the score more than anything. Extras on the disc begin and end with the theatrical trailer, which should make fans giddy in their seats as soon as it is played. So, just like the movie, the DVD is a bit bootleg -- more like that skeleton in Warner Bros.' closet that they dressed up a bit to look good, but didn't think too much of it after that. In a way, it fits the film and, most likely, the fans will understand that and just be happy to finally have it on their shelf.

Classic 80's at its best

It's very cheezy and campy, and is one of the great parody movies of the 80's. Actually has more spirit to it than Spaceballs and has better acting than the new (1,2,3) Star Wars trilogy. Just a good time movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. If you like 80's comedy this is for you, I group it with movies like: Spaceballs Strange Brew Flash Gordon (1980)
What's great about it: Great cast, good acting, wonderful parody
