Amazing! Beautiful!!

I saw this film in theatres and i had no idea what i was getting myself into. The initial attraction was Kate Winslet (love her!) but when i saw the film, i didn't see Kate, I saw Hannah and the many impossible struggles she faces during the short 2hr. run time. I was emotionally drained by the end, but in a good way. So much happens, even the slow moments play a pivital role in the plot. Pay attention to every detail, this film will take u by emotional storm!!!
Their are so many twists and turns throughout! Jaw dropping ending!! Acting amazing!! Can't wait till dvd release in April!
What's great about it: I've never seen a love story like this before. It is the most beautiful and truly moving film of the year.
What's not so great: 17 and up. Adult situations with extreme nudity and sexuality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

AMAZING! Beautiful story!

I saw this movie while it was on tv and i fell in love with it. Since the sudden death of Mr. Ledger I became increasingly interested in his previous work. I love drug movies and that's exactly what I got. The story felt real. It seems like a story that many have already experienced and sercome. I was blown away by the beautyof the human spirit. The poetry and art in the film are used as symbolism and creates the tone for the 2 hr. drama. I love this movie, i just purchased it today and I quickly dove into the special features! It is a film that when I feel like I need help or that I feel stuck, I can revisit and the harsh reality of so many bring me to my senses of how fortunate we really are. Beautiful and amazing story that is for the mature and open minded. Not for children. :)
What's great about it: heaven, earth and H E double hockey sticks! (we can't cuss in these lol)
What's not so great: the unexpected deaths!
I would recommend this to a friend!

When I read the other review for this movie, I had to add my own opinion. This film is amazing! The story, is a bit cliche', but the audience loves it! I do not know how anyone can dislike this movie. The first half of this film is pure emotion and the second half is pure adreniline! Everytime i watch this movie, I cry in the same spots I did just ten years ago! A truly groundbreaking film, like nothing that i have ever seen! I don't that there will ever be a film that had the same magic that Titanic did!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This film is truly amazing. It is not like any other hollywood movie. It feels real, which is important to a film. The best thing about this film are the actors. I am a HUGE Leonardo DiCaprio fan and I think that this movie is one of his best performances! It is truly hard to watch sometimes because his portrayle of Gilbert's (Johnny Depp) mentally challenged younger brother Arnie is so real. I would recommend this film to any one as long as they have respect for people who are mentally channenged and people that are over weight "Momma". This movie is a true classic, one that deserves to be viewed at least twice!
