Enjoy crisp 4K images and dazzling color on this Sony HDR Ultra TV, featuring a wide 75-inch screen that's ideal for home theaters. Full-array local dimming and boosting ensures a clear picture, and hidden cable routing makes for a seamless setup. This Sony HDR Ultra TV is compatible with PlayStation Vue to eliminate your cable bill.
The Sony X-tended Dynamic Range PRO technology, combined with its 4K Processor X1, really makes a difference if you are trying to decide among different manufacturers. It can make normal HD blu-ray movies look like 4k HDR movies. My wife, who usually doesn't care about picture quality, keeps commenting on how good lights and colors look from our blu-ray movies, and she can't wait to watch Christmas movies on this TV. Seriously, if 4k HDR movies only looked as good as normal blu-rays looked on this TV, I still would have been thrilled.
This TV may be less vibrant than some other 37-inch TVs, i.e. Samsung 37a550, but it has a more natural picture color, i.e. people's skin tone looks normal and not over-saturated. The best function it has over the other 37-inch TVs is Cinemotion. The motion of blu-ray movies look like the Motionflow low setting on more expensive 120hz Sony TVs. Even my wife, who doesn't care about picture quality, admitted that the picture looked so much smoother with Cinemotion activated. If one is looking for a TV smaller than 40 inches but wants the same motion quality for movies of a bigger, more expensive TV, than this is the TV for you!
What's great about it: Cinemotion; Very natural picture color; Multiple connections
What's not so great: Less vibrant than some other TVs
