In this expose of America's most popular superstore, Outfoxed director Robert Greenwald takes a look at Wal-Mart's alleged questionable business tactics and the damaging effects that the nationwide giant has on small-town business owners. Take a look behind the spotless exterior and into the lives of the people who put their livelihood into Wal-Mart's hands, only to discover that their fair-weather employer was nowhere to be found in their time of need. From the local business owners to the communities and everyone else affected by Wal-Mart's unprecedented grasp on the consumer marketplace, this documentary offers a little-seen perspective on the store that sent "mom and pop" packing.
