The case protects well. The magnetic cover shuts off and wakes up the unit perfectly. The wide bottom sits well on your stomach without tipping over while you are laid back in a lazyboy type chair (while also watching tv). The base has several raised bump stops that hold the unit at different angles quite well unlike some other cases that the edge easily slips out of a small crevice line.
What's great about it: Wide bottom and angle stops that hold.
What's not so great: Nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!
