I actually expected more out of this album. It's not as good as I thought it was going to be, but I still love it. The beats are amazing. The lyrics were good. This is an album that you have to have a system in your trunk for. I think it's still a pretty dope album. Big brother is AMAZING!!! Kanye couldn't have gotten any more real on that song!
I'm glad to say that this is a pretty good album. Apathy has got some serious wordplay along with the rest of his clique [demigodz]. He's definitely one of my favorites. Not just because he's from CT also. But that does play a role. CT STAND UP!!!
I enjoyed this album as well. Usually artists' follow up ablums are missing alot. I wouldn't say this ablum wasn't, but it was a VERY good follow. Diamonds From Sierra Leone, it couldn't get any more real than that.
This album...pff! What can I say that hasn't ALREADY been said about it. This ablum won a Grammy! I shouldn't have to say anything more than that. This is a GREAT album though. Production is amazing as well as the lyrics. Kanye is a genius.
I respect the experimentation from Common on this album. The production is definitely....different. But lyric-wise i wasn't surprised. To get a little more in depth [and maybe to help a customer out], the album is called The Electric Circus because the beats all had the sounds of an electric guitar in them. Unlike many others, I actually thinks it's a pretty good album still. The beats are just different.
From start to finish, this ablum is GREAT! Personally my 2 fav tracks are the intro and faithful. But the whole album contains incredible lyrics. This album was a BIG step up from Electric Circus [his previous album].
In an era where hip-hop artists become more and more fake, this album should be inspiration for up-and-coming true atrists. The content of this ablum is rediculous. This kind of album has been LONG overdue. I think it's really going to be difficult for Lupe's The Cool to compete with this album.
There is NO reason NOT to buy this album. It went platinum for a reason! EVERY SINGLE SONG IS ILL! I seriously played this album alone for about 2 weeks straight when it was released.
