I was hoping for a shadow of Toto IV and got a mountain slide of great guitar rock. I will admit the singing is a bit less than stellar (even with the studio magic), but the songs are among the strongest rock tunes EVER. Not a clinker on the entire disc. I simply had to listen to it 3 times the first time I loaded the disc. I have not done that with ANY disc in a decade. A new masterpiece. Toto.....keep on rockin' ME and anyone else smart enough to own this album.

i figured this would be fair (& that 2nd star is for subject matter) at best. The video quality is SUB VHS to worse (even post 2000 shows). Sound is variable. The song "Woodstock" (labeled "1971" !) is an alternate studio version that sounds great, but it is played over stock Woodstock crowd footage, from of course 1969. Interview segments are dated to subject matter at the time. Being a completeist I purchased this & content is mainly from broadcast TV and a few videos. 2 songs are from the London stop of the 1974 tour, including "Our House" with horrible image and sound. You can pick up the video of that entire show on the grey market with much better video quality.
In a word this is a miserable quality program about among the best in their day groups ever. They deserve a much better documentary. Pick up CSNY 1974 for a much better snapshot of these glorious voices.

I heard about this release via internet only and how many videos were on it, and got smart. If you get this from a download service you will fill up your music player no matter how big it is. It is just smarter to get the discs, enjoy the content and put what you will really enjoy on your portable device. Trust Me. As your "pod" gets full, real estate is at a premium.

It is hard to criticize Ms. Lavigne, since she always delivers some cool pop-rock. No to play the prude, but she is so good she does NOT need to use adult language (that most adults avoid in mixed company) to be cool. Other than that, this is a solid effort.

Applause is a cool tune, but the rest of the CD is similar, so it does sound like one long program. That's good and bad, few releases gel like this one. It does sound a bit weak compared to her first release.

The guitars and bass, and of course the vocals (at times) are undeniably "Boston," but the percussion is ordinary for a rock album. And the non-Delp vocals are OK to good....not great.
Worth it for fans of the original line up of Boston. Others, get the first album "Boston" which is a masterpiece.
