After seeing the previews for Hamlet 2, I know many people that thought it would be a stupid non-sensical humor film similar to that of Napoleon Dynamite. However, after viewing the film it is far from what some would refer to as childish. It is a clever comedy that I don't think got the amount of recognition that it deserved. With a cast including Steve Coogan (Tropic Thunder), Catherine Keener (The 40 Year Old Virgin), and some more well known celebrity cameos by David Arquette, Elizabeth Shue, and SNL's Amy Poehler, the acting is incredibly well performed and the comedic lines well delivered. The writer's co-wrote for the South Park movie and the humor can be easily recognized. With religious, gender, and race jokes, nothing is off limits. For a good laugh, I recommend it.
What's great about it: Fun, original plot, not your average comedy
