one of my best rock'n roll dvds I own. and I have well over one hundred and fifty of them. this blu ray dvd is in my top five. the sound and picture are top notch. unlike satriani new dvd live in Paris. just buy it.
What's great about it: this the way rock'n roll should be played live!
What's not so great: sould of been a second disc,so I could of enjoyed it longer.

this dvd is a great way to see how far a person can go in twenty years. it has been three years since his last dvd . now he has a four piece band with a extra drummer and a horn section. the camera work is great and you have three audio options. most of the music is from the ballad of john henry but he also plays many of his other great songs. you have eric clapton playing a song with joe and to say the least it is a classic. if you love the blues and you love to rock buy this dvd.
What's great about it: joe with the new band and eric clapton.
Just buy it. In the last year I have seen the Motor City Madman and ZZ-Top and Rush, and after seeing them this summer in Milwaukee. I looked at my son and said that I could die tomorrow and know that I saw the world's greatest three-piece rock band. I have all three of their DVDs and this is the best, hands down. Great sound and picture in blu-ray, and it's quite funny watching the guys try to act in the extra outakes. The playlist is mostly off of Snakes & Arrows, but there is no shortage of old tunes here. I bought their first album and over thirty plus years later, Rush is better then ever.
What's great about it: Amazing audio/video quality, a good mix of new and old tunes, and a good amount of extras.
What's not so great: It's Rush, what could be wrong?
