What I wish I knew

I ordered 4 speakers online. While ordering I called 1-800-BESTBUY to ask what install would cost for my order. She quoted me a total of $44.99 for all 4 speakers. After they arrived I went into bestbuy to set up my appointment. At the store I got a girl who had very little knowledge and had trouble answering our questions. She scheduled our appointment and charged us $44.99 per pair + a $5 materials fee she couldn't explain. So now we're up to almost $100. Then, at my appt., my installer informed me I should have been charged $75 per pair because they needed to remove my door panels which pushed us into the "advanced install" group. So now it's around $160! But the installer was great and got it approved thru the manager for the price I had already paid and the install was done perfectly. So....the cost is per Pair and a standard install is only for removal of speaker panels when allowed, not door panels which are the most common. And find someone who knows what they're talking about!
What's great about it: Install was flawless
What's not so great: Employees (not installer) give false information
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Has everything we were looking for

We've owned this for about 9 months now and I still love it. We chose the LG mostly for the usable space. Most other brands put the ice maker on the top shelf which takes away a portion of the shelf space. This LG has it built into the door. It also has a shelf you can push halfway in to make room for tall items like 2ltrs. In my opinion It has more usable space than any other brand we looked at. As annoying as it can be, the open-door alarm has been a necessity. The door can take some effort to close all the way (it doesn't just swing closed on its own and Im still surprised how often the kids forget that! It looks great, is efficient, and the tall water dispenser is great for filling up pitchers. But be careful - we had to return our first 2 because they arrived scratched up although our delivery men had been very careful #and our 2nd one had a defect- it formed condensation on the water dispenser even though we never hooked up the water line). They must be very easy to scratch, however we've managed to keep our current one in great condition. The only other negative I can think of is that sometimes it runs a little loud but it must be doing some kind of "cycle" because it is normally pretty quiet. All-in-all, we're very pleased with our purchase!
What's great about it: Sliding shelf and door stored ice maker
What's not so great: scratches easily
I would recommend this to a friend!

just how shiney is this black finish?

Is it more glossy (shiney) or matte (dull)?
It is glossy, not mat. I love mine!

Are Infinity Primu speakers MODEL: PR6502is advanced or standard speakers?

I recently purchased and had the Geek Squad install two sets of Infinity Primus speakers MODEL: PR6502is on my vehicle. I was quoted $44.99 per pair for install by the sales department but was charged $74.99 per pair. I want to know what the difference is between advanced and standard speakers. Was the charged correct?
I found out at my install that if they need to remove the whole door panels and not simply the speaker panel that that pushes you into the "advanced install" price. So if your door panels needed to be removed then yes, you were charged correctly.
