Ralph Nelson directed Cary Grant in Father Goose, which comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Mono. There are no subtitles, but the soundtrack is closed captioned. Supplemental materials include cast and crew biographies. Republic has done a perfunctory job with this title. The disc will not disappoint Grant fans or anyone who loves the film, but there is little here for the average DVD consumer.

Cary Grant in a funny yet real setting. he is pretty much a bum and gets hooked up with a teacher with some young kids. the rest is great.
What's great about it: the players, setting, the kids.
