Best consumer wireless cameras

I've tried my share of several brands of wireless cameras. The Arlo Pro 2 clearly is the best in class.
Pro:
- Wireless with base, Rechargeable batteries
- Free cloud storage recording of 7 day worth
- 1080p -> important especially when trying to identify face, my friend has the 720p version but it's not clear enough when zoomed in to view the face.
- 2 way audio, with motion and noise detection
- 100-decibel smart siren that can be activated from your phone
- Very easy set up and clean UI
- Fast when connecting for live view
- Wireless with base, Rechargeable batteries
- Free cloud storage recording of 7 day worth

So far, we're very happy. We owned Logicircle and mydlink wifi cameras. The Arlo Pro 2 beats them based on the Pros I've listed above.

With 6 people in the house, the floor is always dirty with all sort of things. We used to have a dog who "cleaned" the floor from the kids dinner mess, so it's nice to have a replacement that's even lower maintenance.
Pros:
+ Cleaning power is relatively good. It picks up cheerios, rice, but not when it's stuck on the floor already.
+ It learns the nooks and crannies of the house pretty well.
+ It can self-charged by going back to the base

- The app is very basic. It's basically a remote to ask it to clean or back to base with scheduling option. I would like to see more functions such as how full the waste container, steering of the vacuum cleaner.

I have 2 girls, 7 and 5 years old. I am thankful for the pink selection for this robot. We enrolled my 2nd grader in coding/robotics after school program. And this toy helped her to make STEM fun and easy to build her interests.

Wow, good looking headphones with soft leather and touch control. Very comfortable. I downloaded the app to connect and the choices for the sound themes are relaxed, bright, warm and excited. I can appreciate the idea of uncomplicated settings, but this price range headphones are targeted for audiophiles, and the setting is not enough in my opinion.
Setup is super simple and intuitive. Noise cancellation can be activated from the app. If you're a serious audiophile, you might be disappointed with the features. But most mainstream customers will appreciate the clean interface and built quality.

We've been comparing security cameras for a while and so far we have tried Netgear Arlo, Logitech LogiCircle and D-Link DCS-8000LH. We are surprisingly quite pleased with the D-Link DCS-8000LH.
Pros:
- For the price, you get 2 cameras. Cheaper than the competitors.
- Easy set up
- Super fast connection to view live feed through myDlink Lite app, easy to use.
- Great night time view (see pics).
- Motion detection that can be set to your sensitivity preference. With the mydlink lite app, you can receive alert notifications.

Hopeful but not for now

We set this camera up using the wire free mode, so it will look nice and neat. Set up is easy and quality is great. So, here's the scoop:
Pros:
- Easy set up
- Great quality
- Wire Free option with charger, no need to buy batteries

I don't think it's a reliable video camera at this point. Although, it already received a firmware update. Stability hasn't improved yet. I am hopeful with future updates, it will be more stable, and fast to connect to.

Cool summer break science experiment

I have 7 and 4.5 year old girls and a 41 year old husband. This is definitely a good father/kids activity during this summer break. Although, I must warn you that you will find the father can be more excited than the kids.
He's a Mechanical Engineer, so his inner nerd is channeling all the physics lessons to my kids. Kids will love it because it has many different activities and the facts that it vibrates, makes noises and lights up are fun enough for the kids. And as a mom, if I can be left alone for a few hours, I am a happy camper.
Video instructions are helpful and luckily my husband has an iPhone but as a die-hard Android fan, I would be mad too had we not have any iOS in the house and that is the only option to do the activities.
Overall, I am impressed that Bose created a product that is educational, fun and just as good of a quality.

Roomy but not bulky!

Our gas grill just went out recently, so I'm thrilled to try out this electric grill. It has nice design, it looks elegant. Super easy to set up and operate, and clean up is a breeze. The only downside when grilling steak with bone in, due to different height of the cut, some parts of the meat will be burned more.

Better than Surface Pro 4

Setting up this tablet/laptop hybrid was super easy. But I have to admit once everything was put together, at first I had a hard time figuring out how to open and set it up so it would sit up like a laptop. Once I can get it to stand the way I want to, everything else was a breeze.
Pros:
- The pen is amazing, responsive and comfortable. It's a little bit on the too sensitive side but it works really well.
- The backlight keyboard auto timed, it would turn off when not in use, and would turn on once you start typing.
- The design is much more elegant than Surface Pro who is the obvious competitor.
- AMOLED screen is nice and color is accurate.
- Initially I was worried about 4GB RAM, but I haven't noticed any lags when switching and opening up multiple programs such as Chrome, Excel, One Note, while listening to Groove.
- Battery life (rated at 11 hours) is very good comparing to laptop of the same class.

I am quite happy with the product thus far. If you're comparing this and Surface Pro 4, I recommend the Samsung Galaxy Book over the Surface Pro 4. Design, battery life (11 hours on SGB and 9 hours on SP4), and weights are my top 3 comparison points.

It doesn't actually cover the entire screen. It seems more like overstock from the HTC M7 that they put in a new box and disregarded the fact it doesn't cover the whole screen. And at $40, it should cover the whole thing.

As a Best Buy Employee myself (Store 0408, Ann Arbor MI. Come say hello!), I found that selling myself on a laptop was a hard task. I did a lot of independent research and settled on the 512GB (QHD) model of the HP Spectre x360.
So far I am seriously enjoying the laptop. I've never had a 2 in 1 laptop as well, so I find the touch functionality to be extraordinarily helpful in classes.
PROS:
* High Power: With the i7-5500U, this thing packs a pretty serious punch in terms of computing power. Handles any task I would throw at it with ease
* Amazing Display: QHD is amazing. Nothing more to say
* Very solid build quality: The Spectre is just built nice. It's hard to really describe it any other way. The laptop feels solid and performs solid.

Cons:
* Touchpad has been a bit finicky: I can't really say if this is a bug or a feature, but the touchpad on the spectre "sticks" a bit after two finger scrolling. Moving up or down a page with two fingers, then moving left/right on the page with one finger results in the touchpad still thinking you are scrolling up or down for a few moments. Again, this might just be my product, but I find it annoying (but something I am getting quickly used to)
* Charger feels a bit loose: HPs universal charger design is a blessing and a curse. Due to this, the charger just has a bit extra breathing room in its port, and isn't exactly a snug fit.

I was torn between this laptop and the Dell XPS. Both look sleek and hopefully they will be raising the bar on future laptop designs. I find most laptops today to be plain ugly. I purchased this because the specs gave me an i7 chip and touch screen for less money than the Dell XPS. After purchasing the product though I noticed the following: One - I started getting a Driver error almost immediately. Two - I don't really use the touch screen, and the tablet functionality. Three - the design is beautiful, however I did not like how the laptop backlight button had to remain on when the keyboard light was off. Also the outside seems fragile and prone to scratches if you are careless.
Long story short.. I returned the laptop because of the driver error, but I did not get a new one. I am back to deciding whether to get the Dell (price still high), another Spectre, or even a Mac Air.

This is HP and my 3rd Spectre X360. The 1st version had 5th gen processor and did not have Bang & Olufsen audio and no M2 SSD, and I had tons of issues with my audio quality crackling and graphics card crashing despite updating to the latest driver. The 2nd version had 6th gen processor and although the body style was exactly the same, there were significant improvements. The 2nd version came with Bang & Olufsen audio software and M2 SSD. I was really happy with the laptop.
Now, this version tops it all. It has 7th generation processor. Although it has the same architecture as 6th generation, the battery receives 15% bump in capacity. Also, the new placement for speakers makes much more sense and provides better output as well. The design is similar to the 2nd version but is thinner but still feel very solid not fragile. I also had Lenovo Yoga Pro 3, and that laptop was very thin but felt fragile.
Now, this version tops it all. It has 7th generation processor. Although it has the same architecture as 6th generation, the battery receives 15% bump in capacity. HP has definitely stepped it up. Spectre X360 has solid performance with premium design. I love how HP packaged this laptop as well. It’s elegance and the free included sleeve has improved as well. Instead of the neoprene sleeve like the 1st and 2nd version, this one comes with free synthetic leather sleeve.
The only thing that I wish will be changed in the future, is bloatware. Those of you that are savvy enough, can easily do clean install of Windows 10. I did this with my 2nd HP Spectre X360 and I was very happy afterwards. If you’re interested in how to do this, you can do it at your own risk by do a google search of windows 10 clean install.

Hey. I'm very interested in this laptop. I read some reviews of the x360 here at BeatBuy. Don't know how you guys got it already, but will in the "consumer version" also be this leather case included?
The Tech insider Network reviewers received the products for reviews puposes, so most of the times we receive the products prior to launch. To answer your question, yes, cosumer version will also receive the case as it has been the case for the previous generations of Spectre X360.

Is this glass "Case Friendly" or "Full Glass"
I ordered one of these from Best Buy for my phone. I received a "case friendly" glass. Not knowing what that meant I applied it. As you can see by the photos, the ZAGG glass has over a 2 mm gap on each side. I think there is a Zagg "full face" glass also available for the HTC One M9 which covers the glass fully. I'm not seeing a descriptive as to which one this is. I prefer the "full glass" Please explain.
Get the one for M8 and it will be full face. I made a mistake of buying the one for M9 and it didn't cover the whole screen.

Yes, but you have to install the software that comes with it. You can also download it from HP website.
