DON'T EVEN LOOK AT REVIEWS FOR RAID II

I saw Raid I and saw a couple of early reviews on this one, Raid II. The reviews were way high and way low so I layed off on getting it. Broke down and bought it at Best Buy (good price) yesterday and still watching it. How in the world the film dudes and writers put this one together on the screen is beyond me. Raid II should be looking at Oscars - no joke.
My review: the best 'martial arts' movie ever filmed. At a lot of points in the movie your jaw will drop and you will say OMG, did I just see that - rewind.
Believable - very
Acting - could not be better
Camera Shots - a 10
Violent - yes but very bearable
Comparable to - nothing I have ever seen

This movie blew me away and continues because I am still watching it.
Why did I write this review? To let folks who are into this category "Godfather" of films that this is one awesome movie that will probably end up in the top 500 IMBT list.

History Channel At It's Best...

I make this very clear - not to take away one scene of Mel Gibson's "The Passion" which in my perspective set into motion the modern day answers of what, when, where, who and why of the Creators Son, Jesus Christ "The Son of God".
Since "The Passion", I grew to know more about the answers of Jesus Christ yet questioning the answer to nature.
I my world "The Passion" showed witness to beyond belief pain to forgive all past, present and future sin. The History Channels "The Son of God " accomplished the same yet for the viewing audience of this film, delivered the same message in the "History Channel" method less the almost unbearable visual as of "The Passion".

Took a chance on this one and bought it without knowing anything about it. This movie is killer and fun to watch. Very close to "The Professional" with whats her name in it. The difference is that the whats her name in the Colombiana is the real deal. Don't read the critics on this one, just go get it / word...

Bang for the Buck

Don't let the price concern you, I promise. The system is made for a 10 x 20 room, in my case I set it up in my 3rd bedroom FROG. I did try the sound in my larger great room but the sound became dampened simply because the (2) speakers are not designed for a larger area. If you are looking for a system for a larger area in your house talk to the Best Buy dude and he will advise. The sound of the system is unmatched by anything I have ever owned as far as home theater system and will blown you away. The coolest part about the system is the set up. I have my PC, Blu-ray and cable box connected to my 47" LG LCD with HDMI cables and the Bose GS II simply uses the one optical output - very clean. I also purchased the Bose speaker stands and are sturdy and solid versus a timely wall mounting. You also don't have to worry about the direction the speakers are facing, the sound simply fills the room wherever they are directed.
Buy it!
What's great about it: For a 10 x 20 room - nothing out there any better
What's not so great: Zero

Unbelievably well adapted combat series with attention to detail for realism down to the last thread. This is a realistic series that pulls no punches and shows you how horrifying combat was for those Pacific Marines. The film work is amazing as you are drawn out of reality and into the gut wrenching hell that was the Pacific war.
I would like to see the battles of the Tarawa atoll and Saipan addressed by the same team of Spielberg and Hanks in the same honorable fashion they have crafted this series.
"The Pacific" is definitely a must see series for any United States Marine.

Is not a war movie...

The Pacific is almost unbelievable until in later chapters you become to realize that what you are watching actually happened almost 70 years ago. At the same time each chapter becomes more disturbing and painful to watch as your admiration for the solders on both sides of the battle line. In their minds, the belief is that the cause is just, yet in our minds it's much more than that. The Blu-Ray visual effects are at times to much to mentally process and your player must be paused. Sometimes reality is to much to bear. The Pacific is a testament to our freedoms today and a strong reminder that;
"he who forgets, is destined to remember"

This movie is truly one of the best movies of the year. It was a movie with a great plot, great acting, and just a good old fashioned STORY! It is a cross between "Stand by Me" and "Tom Sawyer"...just great stuff.

Call "Mud" a sleeper is you may but truly a fantastic story. Outstanding performances by the cast and characters and a must see.
Btw, you will see it one day, why not today and Oscars will take notice...

I saw a pair of wireless speakers for a TV in the store a while back. have gone back to purchase them and can not locate them on line or in the store.
Price was $99.
I would highly recommend the Sony Bravia HTCT100 sound bar for you. I have ventured into the wireless and unless you drop the big money, you will waste your money - I promise. They don't cost enough to return. With the Sony sound bar, you will have no need for standalone speakers wireless or wired. Add another $99 to your purchase and you will be set. Best Buy has the best price.
