This was by far my favorite film from 2012 and is easily my favorite cop movie. Gyllenhaal and Peña did a great job preparing for this film and truly make the viewer believe they are living the lives of an every day LAPD officer. The movie is pretty fast paced and has some laughs along the way, showing the camaraderie between two partners working a dangerous job.

What's great about it: Realism
What's not so great: Some may be turned off by the violence and language

I never heard of this film until 2012. Every where I read online people talked about how great it is, and I can back that up. Easily one of my favorites in my collection. Best Buy routinely sells the blu-ray for $3.99 and it is an easy blind buy at that price.
What's great about it: Joseph Gordan-Levitt
What's not so great: Nothing

I don't know many people who have heard of this film, and that is their loss. Ryan Gosling really has a great built a great career and this is another film that is proof of that.

One of my favorite films, but it does have a lot of action and violence. It's definitely not a family film.

Entertaining documentary with heart

Another solid documentary from Dave Grohl's camp. Everything this man touches turns to gold. Everyone who loves music needs to give this film a watch.

You have more than likely heard the story of SEAL Team 6 and what happened with OBL. This is a very good telling of that story. Whether it's full of truth or fabrication is up to the viewer.

Impressive package from donglover

Glassnote stepped up with this album packaging. The album booklet looks nice and the album cover feels smooth. I would recommend this to anyone who collects vinyl and likes Childish Gambino/Don Glover.
What's great about it: 180 gram vinyl, double gatefold
What's not so great: Boring black vinyl
