This release includes all 39 episodes of the swashbuckling period series Robin Hood. The show retells the legend of the titular Medieval folk hero in three seasons, following Robin as he returns home from the Crusades to his English home, only to find that the cruel Sheriff of Nottingham has corrupted the area. One of the few willing to fight back, Robin places himself on the wrong side of the law, in order to fight for good and unseat the evil tyrant.
This release collects every episode from the first three seasons of The Almighty Johnsons the science-fiction comedy series about Axl Johnson (Emmett Skilton) who learns on his 21st birthday that he and his three older brothers are reincarnated Norse gods, and that there are a group of goddesses hell-bent on killing them.
I've always been interested in gods and goddesses and mythologies. This is a funny, sexy take on the Norse ones. Gotta love foreign TV! ( For an American, it's foreign.)
I don't like it as much as Part 2, but it has some good tracks. On my copy, however, the last song is screwed up and wouldn't play right or rip to my computer. I think it might just be a disc defect though, which kind of seems to be the luck I have with JT albums.
What made this one so much better than the first for me was, in part, Nathan Fillion's performance as Hermes. I hope Fillion stays around as the character.
I just love Johnny Depp! There are screen moments that match up too obviously with Pirates scenes, but I just took them as little moments to smirk at their transparency.
