This movie is amazing. It is just as good as the other three die hard movies. I am glad that this was released as unrated. It is totally different than the theatrical version. This dvd also has some good bonus features. Check them out and get this movie.
What's great about it: lots of action, unrated

This movie is hilarious. There is never a dull moment. The cast is amazing. This is definitely a more adult movie. Some of the humor is crude. Great purchase.

Home Improvement made a huge star out of Tim Allen and became a mainstay of ABC's schedule for nearly a decade. This box set contains all 24 episodes from the program's first season. Allen played the accident-prone host of a local home improvement show and the comedy came from when his guy-oriented outlook on life clashed with his wife and his family. The first season featured Pamela Anderson as the Tool Time girl.

Director Ron Howard re-teams with star Michael Keaton in the cross-cultural comedy Gung Ho, which comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.78:1. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround, while a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Stereo. English subtitles are accessible. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence. The film looks and sounds great on this Paramount release, but that is all there is.

Federal agent Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) is having a very bad day in this unique, action-packed drama series in which events unfold in real time and the entire season takes place within one 24-hour day. Bauer is the director of the Counter Terrorist Unit in Los Angeles. He's also a married man who is attempting to rebuild a trust-depleted relationship with his wife Teri (Leslie Hope), and a father to independent-minded teen daughter Kim (Elisha Cuthbert). Shortly after midnight on the morning of the California Democratic presidential primary, Jack receives information that an assassination attempt will be carried out against Maryland senator David Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) -- the first African-American with a legitimate chance of capturing the White House -- sometime within the next 24 hours. Jack's mission is made even more difficult when he learns from his boss Richard Walsh (Michael O'Neill) that someone within CTU may be a mole involved with the foreign-based conspiracy. Meanwhile, Palmer, unaware of the assassination plot, receives a phone call from a dogged reporter who says she has evidence that his son Keith (Vicellous Reon Shannon) committed murder. He allegedly killed his sister's rapist. Palmer initiates an investigation to uncover the truth and must decide whether to break the story himself or wait. Jack is contacted by terrorist Ira Gaines (Michael Massee), who informs him that his wife and daughter have been kidnapped by Gaines' henchmen. Gaines threatens to kill them if Jack refuses to follow his detailed instructions. Gaines' goal is simple: Jack is to carry out the assassination against Palmer himself. As the hours pass, the conspiracy deepens, and Jack learns the surprising truth behind the plot and his role in it.

24 is by far the most amazing action packed show on television. I have watched this season at least 7 times all the way through. The concept of this show is fun and original. The show never ceases to amaze me. Every season is worth the purchase.

Danny Boyle's hit suspense film 28 Days Later comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The transfer does a fabulous job of capturing the often gritty, yet occasionally lovely digital photography that helped earn the film its well-deserved audience. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while Spanish and French soundtracks have been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. English and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include an entertaining commentary track recorded by Boyle and screenwriter Alex Garland. The two had previously collaborated on The Beach, and they have an easy repartee with each other. Three alternative endings are offered, along with commentary explaining why those endings were discarded. One of these is a close to 15-minute sequence that utilizes storyboards and an old script read by Garland and Boyle in order to show how the film's third act might have changed. These endings will be familiar to anyone. There are half a dozen deleted scenes with optional commentary, a close to 30-minute making-of featurette, trailers, a still photo gallery, and a music video. This is a strong release from 20th Century Fox.

Great zombie flick

This is a great movie. It is not just a great horror movie but just a great movie in general. It is action packed. It is very psychological. It is very symbolic. And it has an amazing soundtrack.
In the movie all of the "infected" were driven by rage. I think the writer intended this to symbolize the world in general, for example, war, politics, etc. The beginning where Cilian wakes up in the hospital to the whole city being deserted gets me every time. It really gets you thinking. The effects are really cool as well. Most people do not know that most of the movie had to have all the city's citizens edited out to make it look like there was no one there.
Overall this movie is amazing. Go buy it.
What's great about it: action, psychological thriller
What's not so great: ending not up to par

Decent 90s country album
on February 12, 2008

I am a huge fan of the 1990s country era. Joe Diffie is definitely one of the best of the time. This is a pretty good album. If you are into more upbeat songs I recommend another album. If you like great, smooth country from one of the genre's best this would be the album to get. One of the more memorable voices as well.
What's great about it: Great music, classic country
What's not so great: Lacks upbeat tracks

I did not really know what to expect when I purchased this album. I had only heard one song off of it ("Heretics and Killers"). As soon as I listened to the album for the first time all the way through it did not come out of my CD player for two months. It is one of the most interesting albums I have purchased in a while. It tells a story of a woman named Kezia. Each song is different from the next and it is amazingly progressive. It is definitely an up tempo fast pace album with wonderful guitar riffs and extremely high vocals. If you love progressive metal/rock then this is a must have to your collection.
