Owned a month and have never been able to use

One would think when you purchase a $500 humidifier and it arrives out of the box broken that a FULL replacement would be sent to you immediately, maybe even next door air? Nope. This was a gift that I recieved before Christmas and the tank arrived broken. I have been waiting since then for a new water tank. Sort of ridiculous considering how expensive the Dyson items are. I am very disappointed in how they handle these types of issues. I have had other Dyson products with warranty issues as well and it is not handled well. Love their products but if anything goes wrong it is a huge pain to deal with the warranty and replacement parts. You are better off buying something less expensive that may work through the warranty and replacing it, than dealing with Dyson if things break.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dyson has done the correct thing

Dyson has sent me a replacement humidifier and now that I own one that works I can say I enjoy it! It does everything it is supposed to do. So far only complaint is that it seems you can hear the water running through the humidifier. I am hoping after use it quiets down a bit. Best Buy will not let you edit your review.........
