Someone In Control is one of the best albums I've ever bought. There isn't a single song on this album that isn't 5 stars. I recommend this CD to any fan of good music.
This is probably the best Static-X album to date. Even though Static-X seem to change for every album, this time was for the better. Every song on this album is catchy and has amazing guitar, beat, and vocals. Recommended to any fan of metal.
This is an awesome CD. I love the mix of screaming and singing in this album. The guitar is simply amazing. I would recommend this CD to any fan of good japanese gothic/rock/metal.
Scar Symmetry always seems to amaze me with their work, and this album is no exception. Holographic Universe is probably their best album to date. Recommended to any fan of melodic metal.
I can't get enough of this album. Klagebilder is purely amazing. The album kicks off with THE best intro in the world, fading into Die Abrechnung, one of the heaviest songs I've eve heard. Every song on this album is so amazingly different from one another, which will keep you entertained and begging for more. Crematory has two main singers: Felix, who does most of the growling, and Matthias, who does all the clean singing. Crematory manages to create a perfect combination of both, so flawlessly. Another thing great about this album is that it mixes heavy metal and an almost techno-like feel. Hoffnungen, for example, starts off with an amazing goth-techno sound, which fits in perfectly with the rest of the song. At the end of the album, Spiegel Meiner Seele never fails to leave you almost teary-eyed. From start to finish, this CD will make you wonder why these guys aren't insanely popular. I would recommend Klagebilder to anyone who likes pure gothic-techno metal.
What's great about it: Each song is uniquely different
If I were to recommend ANY german band in the world, it would be OOMPH!. OOMPH! has such a unique sound that defines itself from every other german band, such as Rammstein. What makes OOMPH! so different is that Dero, the lead singer, can sing perfectly, scream flawlessly, and whisper just so gently to make your spine tingle. It makes you wonder how they can pull it off so amazingly. Also, OOMPH! never fails to disappoint me with their guitars. They have most variety with their music, from Eine Frau Spricht im Schlaf, an amazing piece of music with a blend of piano and harmonized guitar, to Mein Shatz, most likely the heaviest and greatest metal song I've ever listened to. At the end of each song, they never fail to leave you spine-tingled and begging for more. I would recommend this CD for anyone who is sick and tired of the mainstream they hear every day, for anyone wanting a unique and amazing experience for their ears.
What's great about it: Amazing voice, soul-striking guitar, awesome beat
What's not so great: A little repetetive at some times
From start to finish, this album is amazing. Every song is incredible, from the 1st track, This Blackout Is Your Apocalypse, all the way to the ending track, The Comfort In Leaving, there is not a single song that I don't absolutely love. Sure, there are a few songs that I would recommend a little more than others, like The Bash, Warriors, Wasteland Discotheque, and A Heavy Burden, but that doesn't mean that every song on this album isn't 5 stars. What makes this album stand out from any other album in the world? First of all, the vocals. Raunchy has a perfect mix of screaming and singing. Even the screaming is incredible, too. I don't know any other band in the world that screams as good as Raunchy does. They also have a perfect blend of spine-tingling melody and make-you-want-to-headbang thrash. They also seem to do the most amazing cover songs in the world. On Somebody's Watching Me, they manage to keep the same rhythm as the Rockwell version, but still have the song completely done with that Raunchy touch and amazing vocals. On this CD is the BEST way I've ever spent my money. My advice is: if you like music, buy this CD.
