This ink cartridge is compatible with select HP Deskjet, PhotoSmart and OfficeJet printers, and allows you to print documents with crisp, black text.

Hard to believe, but HP changed the physical dimensions of this cartridge and did not change the model number. The cartridge Best Buy shipped did not fit in my printer. They changed the size in Sept 2010, but I suspect I received a cartridge that was sitting on the shelf for a while. Before I read the HP notes on this, I called HP customer support and they denied the size change had taken place. I returned the cartridge to Best Buy, and they nicely exchanged the cartridge for a more recent date code, same model number. What's great about it: Works good if you get the write size.
What's not so great: HP live support.
