Be careful with Denon Waranty

I own and have owned multiple denon receivers( 3310, 4311,4520) , Amplifiers(POA-A1HDCI) , Bluray players and many smaller units. Denon and their repair center are not very trust worth as far as repair and warranty coverage goes, specially on an expensive unit, Think twice before spending a few thousand $s on a Denon product.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent tv. The clarity is amazing. However the sound quality is not great. Without the surround sound on the tv volume has to be almost all the way u to hear it.

TV speakers

At this level of the game, most people would like to have a better sound quality than what TV speakers can provide. I yet to see a TV with speakers that can compete with an even a low level soundbar, let alone a decent surround sound system.
