Like you were there, especially concert footage.

Val Kilmer, absolutely was born for this roll. To think he had to lobby for it, is just mind boggling.
This is a terrific way to either live or RE-live the era, regardless of what poetic license Oliver Stone may have taken.
The songs are great and the concert footage can be enthralling.
The roll of Kilmer's life should have made him a bigger star, but the movie had mediocre reviews based on what was perceived as Stone's excesses and the movie's length.
However, if you're not looking for profundity in script and want to "experience" The Doors and Morrison at his best and worst, this it!
What's great about it: Just about everthing, and Val Kilmer must have really been Jim Morrison
What's not so great: Maybe, a bit too long.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Work and Play
By Mike412011 from Citrus Heights
Having owned the Microsoft Surface since Black Friday I am mystified by all of the negative reviews by the Tech Media around the Net. It’s as if they are reviewing a completely different product than the one I have been using. Perhaps my expectations for a $499 full feature tablet were set much lower than these reviewer or their expectations were set too high. I just say that I have been very pleased with this tablet.
I use it as a companion to my laptop which has seen much less action since I bought this. As a productivity tablet I would rate the Surface a 9.5 out of 10 where the iPad ranks 7 out of 10. As an online student I used to use my iPad 2 to write papers in Pages, email it to myself, open it in Word on my laptop to properly format it and then post it to the school’s website. With the Surface Word is included as a part of Office 2013 and I am able to complete the entire process on the Surface. This is the primary reason I made the conversion to the Surface from the iPad 2. Since I mostly bought productivity apps for my iPad 2 I don’t miss it much.
As a leisure tablet the Surface ranks a 7 out of 10 where the iPad ranks a 9.5 out of 10. Although the iPad is a fun tablet the Surface is no prude. There are some cool games like Angry Birds Star Wars, Cut the Rope, and a number of role playing games that shine on the platform. The Modern (Metro) UI with its active tiles, make social networking updates a breeze and pleasing to look at. Reading comics using the ComiXology app is as compelling as on the Surface as with any other OS. My only complaint it that the Music app is poorly executed when compared to the iPad or Windows Phone 7.5. Its dependence on Xbox music syncing and the limited integration of files on SD cards, thumb drives and hard drives makes playing music unnecessarily difficult. This MUST be fixed SOON.
Overall this is a great first effort by Microsoft to make a tablet that is ideal for work or play. Of course there is room for improvement. Be warned… Before taking a negative review of this tablet at face value check it out for yourself. You may find that the market is large enough for more than one great tablet.

Right on the money.

I have a Dell XPS10, similar to the surface. I never though I would LOVE WinRT as much as I do! I even like the inclusion of the Windows desktop. Makes it interesting and opens up the OS unlike iOS.This tablet does everything. I agree the music app needs immediate attention.(as well as a few more.) I'm on my 3rd iPad, (Mini# and as great as they are, the WinRT tablet is more useful and interesting. Imagine as it matures, is updated and fine-tuned. #+ growing eco-system!- can't wait!

It's a smart phone
By tron84 from mesa, Arizona
Well the thing is I've had this phone with sprint and I was tired of their no Internet coverage although it's considered unlimited and switched to Verizon bit the funny thing is since I got this phone its been freezing a lot when I do normal things like unlock my phone or try and access app after app and it's been doing this since I got it in march of this year. So I'm not happy about that at all especially when I came from a Company were I had no issues with the device just the Internet.

As you can see from the thousands of ratings, this is a pretty great phone. Mine has been flawless. Did you ever think yours might be defective?

A bit better quality than expected, but.no Office!
By sody
I was and still am satisfied with all aspects of this purchase except for the "misleading advertising" presented with the item that indicated a one-year subscription to Microsoft 365 shipped along with the tablet. I even noticed that a "Free Office 365 Subscription" sticker was attached to the outside of the box the tablet shipped in. Obviously, Best Buy was not aware of the subscription being part and parcel of the purchase. I even called BB customer service, to no avail.

Stopped working after 1 month
By TVUser
Got this tv as a replacement for a westinghouse that stopped working. At first my boyfriend and I loved it. Great picture and sound, easy to navigate through the main menu and alternate between sources (ex-streaming channels and game console- no annoying 'input' button to have to switch through. Everything is on the main menu) Less than 1 month after getting it, the tv stopped connecting to the internet. Since we do not have cable & only use it for the streaming options (Mainly Netlfix and Amazon), that rendered the tv useless except to watch dvds through the xbox we hooked up to it. Called Hisense and they said it was most likely the TV's wifi board.
The only good thing I can say here is that Hisense's customer service was great. I spoke to multiple people-all very knowledgeable (Huge contrast from westinghouse's awful customer service). They offered to come to my home & replace the tv's wifi board for free. I will most likely not be doing this- but instead exchanging it at Best Buy for a Samsung.

Just out of curiosity: why penalize the company that offered good customer service and offered to repair your television at home.? Sometimes whether it be automobiles or refrigerators, you get a defective one. I think you did them a disservice.

What is a good external hdd that will work for games, music video, and everything else?

If money is an issue, pretty much any Seagate or Western Digital external dirve will do-the more capacity the better. The Seagate FreeAgent Go drives are sleak and small, priced right and are availble in several sizes. Wait for a sale and get at least 500 GB.
