Decent price, but doesn't go very far.

Anyone who's owned an HP product and really looked into it, the ink cartridges never print as many pages as the box says. You'll also find that more often than not, one of the three colors runs out before another. But this isn't necessarily brand-specific. It's an issue with all name-brand printer inks. So it stands to reason, I can't really even take that into consideration here. Nor the fact that every brand makes their cartridges proprietary and even model-specific. -- But I digress... The print quality is good, the cartridges last about as long as expected, and the price doesn't necessarily break the bank as some do. I just wish that when they go on sale, they're discounting more than a dollar. X^)

Huge Improvement

The new controller is fantastic.. The touch interface seems somewhat gimmicky, but only time will tell if it sees some intuitive integration into future titles. The LED Lightbar is too bright at times, but it's not even noticeable 90% of the time. I love the shape, the weight, the improved shock/vibration feature, retained the (lightly used) Sixaxis feature, the redesigned L2/R2 triggers, and the redesigned analog sticks. The DS4 also now uses a Micro-USB cable to charge rather than the DS3's larger Mini-B USB. The reason I like that change is because so many devices out there also use Micro-USB cables. Including some I already own. One of my favorite parts of owning a PS4 is this controller. It's such a massive upgrade from the Dualshock 3, I cringe at the thought of using a DS3 ever again. Luckily the Dualshock 4 is compatible with the PS3 via the Micro USB cable. Unfortunately it's not compatible with the PS3 via bluetooth, but that might be possible in the future.
My Best Buy number: 2677127967
What's great about it: Redesigned Triggers and Analog Sticks, Improved Vibration, Weight, Shape/Feel, Battery Life, Micro-USB
What's not so great: LED Lightbar on top is annoyingly bright in a dark room

The PS4 is a graphical powerhouse, able to deliver massive game worlds with impressive clarity and detail. 8GB of RAM allows for serious multitasking potential, complementing the great apps and features that make up the PS4 experience. The PlayStation brand of consoles has an impressive history of delivering world-class exclusive games, and the trend is sure to continue with the PS4. The growing blockbuster catalog is backed by a library of free-to-play and indie games, giving you flexibility in how you pay and play. The PS4 also acts as a social hub, with several built-in features that take advantage of the social networks you're already using. The controller's Share button opens up a world of video sharing, with the option to stream your gameplay live or record it to edit and post later.PlayStation Vita owners will enjoy the connectivity that ties the two devices together, from Remote Play, which allows you to play your PS4 games on your Vita's screen over a local Wi-Fi network, to Cross-Buy, which allows you to purchase a game digitally only once and play it on both your PS4 and your Vita. All PS4 consoles will need a firmware update and must be connected to the Internet to complete the update. While your console will not always need to be connected to the Internet, a one-time connection is required for the update.Online multiplayer requires a paid PlayStation Plus membership. Some features require a broadband Internet connection; ISP fees apply.PS3 games, controllers and some accessories are not compatible with the PS4.

Everything I'd hoped for

I approached the purchase excited, yet very wary. But my wariness soon disappeared, and I grew to love the system in no time at all. But let's start with the negatives... First, not backwards compatible with the games of any previous generations. No PS3 games. BUT... There's a good possibility some of the most popular PS3 games will be made available digitally in the future. The 500GB stock hard drive, easily upgradable. The limited bluetooth functionality, going to be fixed in a firmware update in the not-so-distant future. The ability to promote sub-accounts to master accounts... That's more of a personal issue I've been dealing with. But it's been hinted at recently that they're searching for a solution to that very problem. Other potential negatives include the inability to customize the home screen(will likely be added in the future), and the limited launch-window game lineup... That will solve itself. All very superficial. All fixable or patchable.
So what's so great about it? The easy-to replace hard drive. Quickly swaps out for any other HDD with a 2.5" form factor. The streaming/recording capabilities are an incredible addition to the system. It's simple to use, and it's only going to get better from here. And of course, a big step up graphically. Checking out BF4, the visuals are fantastic. Those will also improve with time. Of course, it doesn't match up to a $2-3k gaming PC, but it's a great upgrade from PS3 for 1/10th of the price of a top-of-the-line gaming PC. The redesign and scrapping of the PS3's XMB was a great move by Sony. It does take a little getting used to at first, but within a couple days I knew my way around pretty well. Form factor is great. Prior to launch, I was worried we'd see the next-gen equivalent of the FAT launch PS3. But seeing it in person, it's no bigger than the newer slim PS3. The light-up LED indicator light strip is not only really cool looking, it has a purpose. The power and eject buttons are small and cleverly placed, and almost unnoticeable at first glance. One of my favorite parts about the PS4 is the Dualshock 4. The new controller is fantastic.. The touch interface seems somewhat gimmicky, but only time will tell if it sees some more intuitive integration into future titles. Other than that, I have no negatives. I love the shape, the weight, the improved shock/vibration feature, retained the Sixaxis feature, the redesigned L2/R2 triggers, and the redesigned analog sticks. The DS4 also now uses a Micro-USB cable to charge rather than the DS3's larger Mini-B USB. The reason I like that change is because so many devices out there also use Micro-USB cables. Including some I already own.
All together, it's hard for me to not give the PS4 5/5. Perhaps if 99% of the negatives weren't easily fixed/upgraded/patched, it'd bring the score down. But as I said before, the negatives here are all superficial. This is a great console, and it's only going to get better. It's an exciting time to be a PS fan.

This is a really well put-together game that greatly deserves an online component. I'm an experienced bassist with very little experience on guitar, so naturally I wanted to learn more on guitar. And I did. I was surprised how much easier it made it to learn songs from scratch. It teaches you techniques through videos and mini-games, and has tools to help you through sections of songs that you're having trouble with. You can slow down the song, learn techniques associated with the song, and replay certain sections of the song until you're able to master it.
This is a truly great game, but it could be improved upon.
Also want to note, the included real-tone cable can and probably will short out eventually. Mine began to about two weeks into use, but it's still usable. Just gotta be careful with it.
Hopefully there will be a Rocksmith 2 coming up soon. If there is, I'm certainly buying it.

The American Colonies, 1775. It's a time of civil unrest and political upheaval in the Americas. As a Native American assassin fights to protect his land and his people, he will ignite the flames of a young nation's revolution. Assassin's Creed III takes you back to the American Revolutionary War, but not the one you've read about in history books.

Could be better

I wanted to love this game. And I did. I enjoyed the single player to an extent. But the game seems almost unfinished. I feel it could have been an absolutely fantastic game if they'd just worked on it for 6 more months and cleaned up the bugs and polished up the game in general. The multiplayer mode is almost unplayable. Poor game mode concepts(or poorly implemented), shoddy servers, touchy connections, and virtually no customer support from Ubisoft.
I was on track to get platinum on this game until I finished the single player and had to play Multiplayer. For 2 weeks I couldn't even get on the Ubisoft network. Then once I did get online, I was very very disappointed. I mentioned the game seemed unfinished... It seems somewhat unfinished in the single player, but in multiplayer? Multiplayer seems like it's being held together by duct tape. The cheap duct tape with weak adhesive you get at the dollar store. =|
Bottom line: Don't get your hopes up. Ubisoft does this a lot. Gets a great concept going and gets it about 90% of the way there before they just give up on it and rush it out to the public to make their money back as quickly as possible. Then to top it off, they have the most poorly maintained network out there. The connection's always hit or miss. They don't fix very many bugs or release patches, yet they seem to have no problem keeping a steady DLC release schedule. And if you ever need support, you're going to be crazed and annoyed in no time at all.
It's absolutely worth playing the single player. Just don't go into it expecting what you saw in commercials, screenshots and trailers. And I'd probably avoid trying for platinum. It's not unattainable, but it's not worth the hassle or the wasted time in multiplayer to get it.

Not so durable

I've owned two of these. One shorted out only 2 or 3 weeks into using it. The other has lasted a few months. These supposedly have a lifetime warranty, but I've had trouble trying to collect on the first(shorted out) cable. The support is almost nonexistent in my experience.
Sound quality is good. But really, you're not getting anything much better than your typical run-of-the-mill instrument cable. And you're paying extra for the name. Try one. I doubt you'll find it worth the higher price tag.
It's an instrument cable. A good looking one. But it's really not much better than any other notable brand.

The video quality in 28 Days Later is absolutely terrible. And that was something that was intended by the movie's creator. He managed to achieve the grime-laden look he wanted by using a cheap DV camcorder. But owning this movie on Blu-ray is pretty much pointless.
Someone might disagree, but frankly, it's just a waste of money to buy it on Blu-Ray. You can keep (or buy) a DVD version of the movie, and you'll be getting almost the same result at half the price.
It's really a shame, though. It's a great zombie movie. And seeing this with a sharp, crisp HD picture would've been even better.
It is what it is, though. Maybe worth renting on Blu-Ray, but really not worth buying unless you can get it for under $6.

Love this movie!

Django and Inglourious B's are really incredible movies. I think I.B. might be a little bit better story-wise, but that's just my opinion. Both are great movies, and incredibly fun. There aren't a lot of truly fun-to-watch movies out there. Was definitely a good add to my collection. Wish I'd gotten to see it in theatres. >,<
Artwork, great. One of the most striking covers I've seen in recent memory. Reminds me of the older 50s-70s 3-color movie posters. Movie, fun & enjoyable. Special features, kinda disappointing. They're enjoyable, but I'd expected more. Epic movie, mediocre extras. Cast, incredible. Tarantino nevers ceases to amaze me with these ensemble casts he puts together. And he brings back Waltz from I.B. He's just such a fun guy to watch. Can't wait to see what Tarantino comes up with next.

My Favorite Controller

I've owned at least 7-10 PS3 controllers. From the original Sixaxis to the current Dualshock 3 design, and this one seems to have some staying power. I've broken or worn out all of my other controllers, but this one just seems to keep on going. I don't know if any improvements have been made since my previous controller, but it SEEMS like it's holding up far better.
Besides what may only be good luck, I love the digital camo pattern on this. I really like that Sony decided to offer more color and pattern options rather than the previous generation where you had to buy a 3rd party controller to get a cool looking style.
Really hope this is something that Sony carries over to the PS4. It's just a little thing, and probably doesn't mean much to most people(the ability to CHOOSE your design), but I'm a fan. And as long as Sony continues to offer these options, I have no reason to buy a 3rd party controller.
Just hope the new PS4 controller can hold up better than the PS3 release-day Sixaxis model. Those things wore out or broke waaaay too quickly.

BioShock Infinite is a first-person shooter like you've never seen. Just ask the judges from E3 2011, where the Irrational Games title won more than 75 editorial awards, including Game Critics Award's Best of Show.Set in 1912, players assume the role of former Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt, sent to the flying city of Columbia on a rescue mission. His target? Elizabeth, imprisoned since childhood. During their daring escape, Booker and Elizabeth form a powerful bond — one that lets Booker augment his own abilities with her world-altering control over the environment. Together, they fight from high-speed Sky-Lines, in the streets and houses of Columbia, on giant zeppelins and in the clouds, all while learning to harness an expanding arsenal of weapons and abilities and immersing players in a story that is not only steeped in profound thrills and surprises, but also invests its characters with what IGN called "emotional ties (that) will continue to set the bar in gaming."

One of the best games I've played

I thought the previews and ads were just too good to be true. And they were, to an extent. The graphics aren't nearly as nice as the commercials make it look. But once you're immersed into the game, it's really a well-detailed, well-designed world.
I'm not typically into these sci-fi, alternate reality type games. But it's really an incredible game, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's probably one of the top 10 games I've ever played. It'll be hard for 2K to ever top this.
Anyways, onto the game... The gameplay is excellent. The story is really well-written. On the downside, it plays through pretty quickly. I played through it twice(once on hard, once on the unlockable 1999 mode to get Platinum) in 2 or 3 weeks, and if I'd had more time to devote to it, I could've easily done it in less than a week. Also, there's no co-op or multiplayer modes of any kind. Just single-player. So the only re-playability it really has is if you decide to play through a second time to finish off all the trophies or if you buy a DLC expansion later on.
I really enjoyed my time with it. I don't plan on purchasing any DLC for it, however. The cost of the DLC seems a bit high to me. And besides that, there are a lot of good looking games coming out this summer/early fall 2013.
My Best Buy number: 2677127967
What's great about it: Incredibly deep and detailed storyline, beautifully designed world
What's not so great: The lack of any co-op or multiplayer modes, storyline possibly a little overcomplicated for some people
