If your familiar with the band, I'm sure your favorite CD is "Tiger & The Duke". The band said this would be more like their first CD, which I think it is more of a blend between "Tiger & The Duke" and "Lover, the Lord Has Left Us". You don't hear a lot of screaming throughout the CD like on their first, but it is still as enjoyable to listen to. The drums are perfect on this CD as well and Anthony Green has a laid back, eery sound to his voice that really shows that this CD will do very well.
What's great about it: Interesting new direction, but it works perfectly
I think this CD truly shows what Anthony Green is capable of as a singer/performer. I've followed him ever since he was in Saosin (please check out the CD Translating the Name if you haven't already). I really like all of the tracks (Dear Child is the best one on the record) and the included High & Driving demos are a great added bonus. Don't forget to put the CD in your computer so you can see "The Making off..." documentary, it's pretty interesting. Make sure to check out "The Ocean and the Sun" by The Sound of Animals Fighting; another band he is in.
What's great about it: Tons of new songs, beautifully recorded, High & Driving Demos
