Worth the wait!

Every album inevitably has a few skippable songs. This one has less than average, if any. It's pop and catchy with a big dose of rock. If all you know about Hanson is MMMBop, you NEED to hear these songs! I recommend "You Can't Stop Us." And all the other ones too, really.

Relient K's best album yet
on February 10, 2008

I love Relient K's music, and I think this is definitely their best album yet. The lyrics are absolutely amazing in all of the songs, and I never get tired of listening to them. The last track, Deathbed, is over 11 minutes long, but it's so amazing that I was sad when it ended. I highly recommend this album to everyone.

Run out and buy The Walk!
on August 13, 2007

My initial attempt to write this review resulted in several sugar-coated paragraphs of rambling, so I decided to cut it short. As much as I'd like to describe the greatness of every detail of every song, there's just nothing to substitute actually listening to the album for yourself. So I leave you with what started as my introduction:
This album is a balance of everything a hit album should have. The songs are catchy, but it's not a sound you'll be trying to force out of your head. There are smooth, melodic ballads (such as "Go" and "Georgia") that will leave you wanting a hug and a piano lesson or two, as well as funky upbeat songs like "Tearing it Down" and "Running Man" that will have you absentmindedly drumming on your steering wheel. The lyrics run just as deep as the guys' understanding of how to put together a great album, and both are much deeper than the average mainstream puddle.
