Solution for missing mini jack on iPhone 7 & 7plus

This is great for those on the run who want to charge and listen to music at the same time with Apples new Lightning connector Headphones and either a wall plug or lighting cable with a portable battery pack.
Additionally, for anyone with a car with Bluetooth or a car with a USB port that you can plug an Apple lighting cable in you may not need this handy device, however, in the absence of these this is a great solution to be able to charge your iPhone 7 or 7 plus AND listen to music with a traditional mini headphone jack into your car stereos aux headphone jack.

The Audio and Charge Rockstar works right out of the box and is seamless in its operation, it just works, I did notice a negligible longer time to charge my phone when using this but with the convenience this affords it's certainly something that can be lived with.

First let's start with the boxing of this system which is top notch, each of the "nodes" is wrapped in a protective sleeve, there are 3 plugs, an Ethernet cable and a card that instructs you to just download the Linksys App to install. At first I thought oh boy here goes, they are making this appear to be easy but it's not going to be.
Boy was I happy to be wrong, I downloaded the app and followed the instructions to install, first I plugged the first node into the wall, then connected to my router, within literally a minute or two, the first node was online, it asked me to custom name my system and generate my own password which is an easy alternative to some of the wacky preprogrammed passwords that wifi systems come with. Once the first node was online all I needed to do was find an appropriate spot for the second one (the first being in my home office) which I located in my basement, again within minutes, up and running, just following the prompts on the app, then for the third in a spare bedroom upstairs. There is also a check at the end of installing each node to make sure the signal is optimal and if you need to move the node the app will let you know, I didn't have to move mine.
I have never, I repeat never had a setup of anything go so smoothly and be so easy, other than maybe plugging in a toaster.
The great thing about Velop over a wifi system with an extender to augment your signal is this is all on the same network name whereas with an extender you always need to log on to the extended network and the speed is usually significantly slower than the original network.
With Velop, it's a seamless transition all through your house on one network name with strong signal throughout the house.
I speed tested the system and it was FULL speed throughout the house (150/150) and also reconfigured my Apple TV's etc onto the new network with no issues.
I can't say enough about how happy I am with Velop, I have finally found my final whole house wifi system.

A great start to a healthier lifestyle...

I truly didn't know what I was missing until I started using the Ninja Duo System. Smoothies & Protein shakes to even making fantastic chopped salads, some ideas of which are in the included Nutra Ninja Recipie book.
For a smoothie just fill the included cup with your favorite healthy items such as some banana, strawberries, Greek yogurt, milk and ice, just place the blade assembly on the cup, screw it in tightly and place on the motor base.
(A cool thing about the motor base is it has suction cups on the bottom to keep it from moving) Once on the base just choose the smoothie button and in less than a minute your ingredients are perfectly mixed and you have a great tasting and healthy smoothie. Unscrew the blade assembly and screw on the included spout lid which makes for easy drinking.

Fantastic travel companion

As a great alternative to taking your magnetic charging cord for your Apple Watch, which you risk losing or perhaps damaging, the the Valet Charger by Belkin really fits the bill. Charging up the Valet is easy enough with a micro USB cord, after taking out of the box mine was fully charged in a couple of hours, then it's ready to go.
The magnetic charging area for your Apple Watch works seamlessly with the watch and charges as you would expect and if you just use it to charge your watch the Valet has more than enough juice to keep your watch charged for about 8 days which is perfect for a weeks vacation or business trips. The 6700 mAh battery can also charge your iPhone up to 3x with the included USB port on the side, I'm sure with a mix of perhaps a couple of iPhone charges and a couple of Apple Watch charges this would last for a 3 day business trip without having to recharge.
All in all a convenient way to maintain power in the Apple ecosystem.

Dental hygiene is more and more important as not taking care of teeth and gums can lead to a whole host of other problems. Enter this fantastic toothbrush to help in your quest for better health. First thing I did was fully charge the toothbrush, once charged setup was a breeze, just put one of the 2 included brush heads on and you are ready to go. In order to best take advantage of the advanced features of the Sonicare Connected Toothbrush all you need to do is download the Sonicare App and connect the toothbrush to your phone via Bluetooth which couldn't have been easier.
Once connected the app works along with the toothbrush to tell you how long to brush and where and then tells you to go back to areas you didn't brush so well. Absolutely brilliant!
Looking forward to making this a part of my everyday routine!

Great companion to sharing memories

I am new to Premier Elements as an editing tool so I can't compare 15 to any previous versions. What I will say is it's a solid editing tool that has some cool features that are very handy such as haze removal which is critical in making some shots look good and another feature where you can create a video collage mixing both photos and videos in one file to tell your story and making it easy to be able to share your creation on Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo etc
Still exploring and learning all features and overall it's a great product with tons of features you will love.

A product with great promise...

So, I have had the other virtual assistant since it first came out and figured I'd give Google Home a try. The packaging, build and appearance are great and setup was a less than 5 minute affair.
"OK Google" launches Google Home and 4 colorful lights display to let you know it's listening, but there is no sound of tone to let you know it's listening so you need to be looking at it to be sure. The voice technology is very responsive though and some everyday things can be done with it including asking for weather etc
It also links with some smart home products like Nest & Hue and also can do some IFTTT tasks. It can give you a daily briefing, check your calendar, traffic, flight status and it can link up with Chromecast for your TV if you have it.

I like it but I wanted to like it more, I'm sure in the coming months Google will make this better and better but right now when compared to the other Assistant out there it seems like a product release that's a little early to get in this years Christmas season with more work to be done.
As I mentioned, Google will only make Google Home better so if you like to be an early adopter and implement improvements as they come, this is for you, I do recommend it with that caveat.

Lightweight great sounding & heart rate to boot!

At first glance with the design of these headphones one might feel they will be too heavy or bulky for the ears. I am here to tell you that's not true.
Setup is easy with the Bose Connect app, these are "open" headphones in that they don't have to be shoved inside your ears, the downside is they don't block out noise but you really don't necessarily want that in a headphone set that you may be running or biking with in order to be able to react to your surroundings if necessary. They are also sweat and water resistant which is needed in a workout headphone pair.
Speaking of physical activities the Soundsport Pulse headphones also have a heart rate monitor which is a cool added feature, the sensor for this is located in the left side headphone and is able to read your heart rate very easily.
As for fit, with the ear tips on these headphones they fit very comfortably in the ear and absolutely do not fall out which was a concern of mine when I first looked at these.
And now to what you would buy these for in the first place..music...Sound quality is really good with rich bass and nice highs.
Overall a great set of headphones.
