Perfect Backup or Cord Cutting Antenna

So like many of us, I have service provided by a major company for all of my TV channels. One of the things I believe in is redundancy. So for me this is more of a backup in the event my regular service is down due to downed wires etc which happens a couple of times a year as I live in the suburbs of NY.
Setup is simple and I made sure to see where I needed to point to have a line of sight to the broadcast antennas in my area. I mounted high in my attic near one of the vents. After mounting and running the cable to the TV, a simple scan had me picking up just about 50 channels, not all of them would I watch so I can exclude the ones I don’t want (most TV’s do this) and just keep the ones I do want to see.
Surprisingly I got more channels than I thought I would and the picture quality is excellent.
If you are one of the many cord cutters out there I’d definitely reccomend this, or if you are like me and want a backup, consider this antenna.

Google AI in a tiny package...maybe too early...

Facial recognition and automatic clip making of whatever it is you are doing, a pretty cool idea.
Setup is pretty straight forward with the Clips App and you get all you need in the box, charges in a few hours which is to be expected for any rechargeable electronic device. The app is where you will view, edit and store your Clips creations.
This is designed to just set down somewhere in your vicinity and let the AI do all the work, deciding when, what and who to capture. Special attention is supposed to be given to children and animals from the AI.
I found it helpful to use a mini tripod to place the Clip in different positions.
The quality of the pics and clips is decent and some of the output is useful although I don’t know how much AI is really being used. Seems to just randomly start operating or just operates whenever there is movement which is kinda like any other motion detecting camera.
I will say I haven’t made up my mind fully on if this is useful or just a gadget that maybe was too early to release.
Perhaps with time the AI will be improved in subsequent updates...that’s if google doesn’t just drop support for this and move on to something else.
Certainly a bleeding edge product that is fun to play with but real world, everyday use not so convinced.

Great security or Nanny Cam

If you are looking for great video quality, easy two way communication and affordability in a camera then this is for you.
Setup is easy, video quality can be set from 360p, 720p and 1080p. The mic to pick up sounds is very sensitive and can pick up sounds from other rooms which is great. Two way communication is also possible so talking to your kids, nanny etc from afar is possible and a fantastic feature.
If you have an Amazon Echo Show, you can operate with voice commands etc. I would have liked to see more flexible support such as ability to work with Wink or other Smart Home Hubs.
The app is ok, but certain features are not enabled and while it appears you can choose when to be notified of activity in front of the cameras field of view, you can only choose “Always” instead of on a schedule which is something I hope they unlock in the future.
Overall, for the price, id recommend this camera.

Great, sound and great fit...

These perfectly sized headphones check all the boxes one looks for, portability, great sound quality and great fit. The SP 700N pair easily with Bluetooth or with your NFC device. Being truly free of wires in between the ear buds is something that is very freeing and not so easy to accomplish correctly. I experience no issues with sound quality and connections and truly appreciate the bass capabilities of the SP 700N’s as well as the noise canceling feature which is helpful when traveling on a plane or just seeking some focused listening without the outside world intruding on you.
One drawback is when passing through ambient noise, it’s not sufficient enough, but I’ll take that compromise...I just take one earbud out if I need to have a conversation.
The only complaint I have is the case that you store and charge them in...while the idea is a good one, Sony loses a couple of points on execution. Each ear bud has to be inserted just right in order for them to make contact with the charging nodes and sometimes they need to be fiddled with to get in right. I got the hang of it the more I used them but still had an issue every now and then.
Getting back to sound quality which is what I truly look for in ear buds but who doesn’t? They sound FANTASTIC and have bass you wouldn’t expect from ear buds. There are preset equalizer adjustments that help you tailor the sound to your particular taste which is nice.
Overall notwithstanding the case issue, I would absolutely recommend these to anyone needing a high quality very portable set of truly wireless headphones.

In the days of digital photos it’s kinda nice to have something that is analog and harkens back to different times...
The Polaroid One Step 2 works like the original One Step did and gives you great looking instant photos you can hold in your hands but with a rechargeable battery which is a great addition. You also have the built in flash that you can control, turn it off, set it to auto etc..
The pictures you take with this camera have a great look and you can choose from color, b&w and color pics with different colored frames around them. Just make sure you get the correct film for either the itype Polaroid Cameras or 600 film.
There is something about being able to take a picture, have it develop before your eyes and then being able to pass that pic around for all to see that is so satisfying and different...or you make some great photo displays or collages, something you just can’t do with a digital pic with out of course printing it out.
A fun inexpensive camera to add some analog to your digital world.

Excellent budget priced receiver

If you are looking for the latest 4K compatibility (with ample HDMI inputs) and the latest in sound decoding (DTS-X and Dolby Atmos) in an inexpensive compact design cabinet then this is your Home Theater Receiver. High power 7.2 channel capability, HDR 4K compatible and 2 subwoofer outs further compliment the feature set of this receiver. You can configure your speakers in many different ways including 5.2, configurations that take advantage of Atmos specific speakers and full 7.2 with 2 subwoofers (which I have done). Which brings me to my only complaint on the receiver...the main 2 speaker connections are banana plug capable but the rest are not, I guess at this price point, the features I described above are second to none but Sony has to compromise somewhere and that’s on the speaker connections for all the other speakers, which are the typical spring push down connectors that you insert your stripped speaker wire into. I had to remove all of my banana plugs on my other speakers. Setup is easy with the on screen prompts and Sony also makes it easy to calibrate your sound with Digital Cinema Auto Calibration for accurate speaker setup. Overall a great choice for your Home Theater but doesn’t get 5 stars from me only because of the lack of banana plugs in the rear.

Excellent gaming and everyday desktop

If you are looking for a high performing PC with the ability to expand memory etc then this is your desktop. From the looks of it (complete with gorgeous lights on the sides) and the fantastic alien logo with pulsing backlight to the blistering performance you cannot go wrong. Build quality is on par with Macs and it feels like a sturdy machine (borders on heavy but to me that’s a good thing). I also love the fact that it’s liquid cooled. It has ample USB ports and is pretty quiet during normal operation.
Not much intrusive software is installed by Dell which is a fear on all pre built machines so that’s a good thing. Graphics look great, and everything from the Bluetooth connections to WiFi etc works flawlessly. Don’t hesitate to buy this machine, I highly recommend it.

I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality of these Sony headphones, for my ears these rare up there with the best of them. They easily charge and last upwards of 35 hours, honestly I haven’t gone that long but have used for a few hours each day for days on end and have had battery to spare. They work great for phone calls as well, people can hear me clearly and I can perfectly hear the phone call.
Now for the noise canceling which is what a lot of folks will be buying these for...I have had others and these rank up with the best of them for noise canceling and for doing so in a non irritating way.
Overall I would definitely recommend these to anyone needing a high quality set of noise canceling headphones...ones that you won’t miss a beat of music with as well.

Great personal speaker

This solid construction speaker is great to carry around with you to wherever you need portable sound in a compact package. Waterproof and dust proof, so take it to the beach with you no problem. Up to 24 hr battery life! I honestly haven’t gone that long with it but the speaker lasts all day with no problems. You can use it as a speakerphone and it’s compatible with Siri or Google Assist...and it pairs very easily with your smartphone.
You also have the ability to link multiple speakers together for stereo sound or even link up to 100 speakers with the party chain feature.
Sound is great for a speaker this size and the bass is decent.
Overall a nice compact speaker that I would recommend for your travels and everyday use.

Is there a way to download the software not by CD? My computer is an an ultrabook and doesn’t have a CD/DVD drive.
You can just add the printer in your printer settings via WiFi, I did not have to use the CD to load any drivers.

I want to use HUE lights with this. Can I buy a 2nd Google Home for my 2nd floor so both floors can access Home to turn off/on lights? If my phone (synced to Home) is out of the house, will voice activation still work for the lights?
This will work with Hue, you should be able to have multiple units in your house and they will work without the phone that is linked to them in the house.

Yes it can work with both Android and Apple devices.
