good product at a good price ...

Over past 4 years, I have purchased several PNY SSD of varying capacity.
All are still functioning and none have failed thus far. They have comparable read/write speed as other major brands that I have used recently and currently, i.e. Sandisk, Kingston, and Crucial to name a few. The price is also pretty competitive.

Decent for the price ...

Pro: Cheap price, decent design, low key appearance, light weight
Con: material tad flimsy, thin padding
For occasional / weekend outings, not for long trips and constant daily use ... for that I suggest getting something with more stout build quality and materials ...

This battery, EN-EL15, works on D800 also

I don't know why Best Buy don't list this battery with Nikon product Code EN-EL15. It would help them sell bunch more if they list it as being compatible with new Nikon D800 DSLR. Just another small reminder that illustrates why Best Buy is losing out to Amazon.
OK, as for the battery, it works flawlessly as one would expect from the replacement OEM Nikon battery.
What's great about it: genuine Nikon battery
What's not so great: Pricey!

Nikon D800 DSLR Camera Body:Features a game-changing 36.3 megapixels resolution and FX-format sensor for professional photographers who demand superior speed and performance and end results of the highest quality. Combine it all with a powerful EXPEED 3 image-processing engine to render levels of photographic texture, nuance and detail that rival some of the best studio cameras. Plus, HD movie mode shoots at 1080p Full HD for spectacular videos. Although identical to the Nikon D800E in every other aspect, the D800 applies the full effect of the optical low-pass filter to prevent false color and moiré for consistent performance in all shooting situations.Memory card sold separately.

One helluva camera but not for everybody ...

Unless you are a pro or serious hobbyst, this camera is not for you. You need high quality optics to get optimal results. My copy did not have left autofocus issues. Rock solid, all around performance. It's heavy and large but no worse than previous gen. pro models; accessory battery grip is ridiculously expensive. Battery life not as good as other, older pro models. Fantastic camera and one serious photographic tool. Awesome!
What's great about it: Resolution, dynamic range, high ISO capability, build quality, much improved video
What's not so great: complex, not for noobs, not optimal for sports photography - low frame rate

Read this before buying Canon 310/320/510H ...

This is a great camera at a great price (if it can be had for under $150).
Starts up fast, fast shutter action, good image quality in low light, does 1080p HD video, good battery life, and supremely portable, maybe too small for big hands. Canon replaced it with 310HS and 320HS but this older model is better and WAY cheaper!! They are essentially same cameras inside with only slightly different lens or sensor. Zoom starts at wide 24mm to fit more people in close quarters. 5X is very useful and practical range. I lke this model better than Canon's pricier SX230HS and 510HS. Highly recommended.
What's great about it: Small size, 1080p HD video, good battery life, excellent image quality

Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24–120mm f/4G ED VR Standard Zoom Lens: An excellent everyday lens for busy professionals and serious hobbyists, this lens has a broad focal length that ranges from wide angle to telephoto with near-macro capabilities. Its versatility makes it useful for event photography, such as weddings or outdoor sports. Vibration Reduction helps produce clear images even in low light.

Very good walk-about lens

The previous effort by Nikon on this lens was a dud. This lens is noticeably better in all respect. I really like the zoom range of 24-120mm and although f/4 is not as good in low light as f/2.8 24-70mm, it's still a ideal compromise of reach, usability and low light capability. 4 1/2 stars
What's great about it: usable zoom range, acceptable lens sharpness
What's not so great: Price, weight

Don't do it!!

Don't get this lens. It's images are not sharp! You gotta be kidding, right? It's a Nikon after all. Most Nikon lenses are very good to great, but this lens is a dud! That's right, Nikon laid an egg. If you like this zoom range, 24-120mm, like I did, do yourself a favor and get the updated version of this lens: Nikkor 24-120mm f/4G ED VR AF-S Lens. It's $1,300 versus $670 for this one. Yeah, big price difference. This lens originally sold for $1,200 but soon everybody in the know found out it's a junk. That's why it's so cheap (relatively speaking) since they need to unload this un-Nikon-like lens. If you can't swing for f/4.0 model, then consider Nikkor 24-85mm f/2.8-4D IF AF Zoom Lens instead.
What's not so great: images NOT sharp

Needed Windows 7 Professional
on May 16, 2011
Posted by: zanypoet
from Midlothian, VA
The reason I got this computer is that I needed something that had Windows 7 Professional, not Home premium as only W7 professional and higher (Windows 7 Enterprise and W7 Ultimate) has virtual XP mode that allows the use of older printers and accessories that has no drivers for W7. I couldn't use Samsung ML-2510 lase printer on any of my new latops with W7 Home premium until I got this Lenovo unit with W7 Professional. I hate Microsoft for once again stiffing the consumers but I am not ready to go Linux Ubuntu full time just yet.
Pro: well-built, nice size, excellent LCD display, yeah it's glossy but glare is manageable; 2MP webcam, HMDI port, eSATA/USB port + 3 more USB ports, pointer device in addition to touchpad (I like it but it may not matter to some - only IBM, I mean Lenovo and few other business models seem to have'm); fingerprint reader is a bonus security feature but I personally don't use it.
Nice keyboard, a traditional IBM strong point, i3 processor is nice at this price point, it's a step or two above and noticeably faster than older T4500 series processors and somewhat faster than newer P6100 & P6200 prcessors.
Con: Not modular like previous Touchpad models (removable HD, 2nd HD tray, removable DVD drive, etc.), webcam only works with Skype, native resolution for the screen is amazingly small; you'll need to adjust the font in the control panel; price premium for Windows 7 Professional over Home Premium; battery life nothing write home about (about 3.5 to 4 hrs.); odd keyboard arrangement; no separate numeric pad like some of the newer laptops.
What's great about it: WIndows 7 Professional
What's not so great: small native resolution of the screen

nice but buy PX-130

Nice package from the Best Buy to add the keyboard stand and the tri-pedal, both of them purchased seperately would cost cost $200 extra.
Having said that, PX-120 is a nice board, but I would prefer PX-130 or PX-330, updated version of PX-120; I think it has better weighted key action and the sound than PX-120.
What's great about it: nice bang for the buck

how much does a concermate 980 runs for

its a keyboard and i would like to know how much it runs for its an old keyboard from 4 to 5 years ago.
They were first made around 1999 and were nice keyboard for the time but you can get much better stuff for a reasonable price. I wouldn't say they are worthless but they are not worth much. You might be able to pick one up on E-bay for about $15-20 bucks.

keyboard with headphone jack and mute function?

Most keyboards have headphone jack in the form of minijack or 1/4 inch type. Some have more than one headphone output so you can share the sound with another person. - useful when taking piano lessons. All of them will MUTE the sound to the main speakers when the headphone is plugged in, assuming the keyboard / digital piano has built-in speakers.

What does MIDI stand for?

MIDI stands for Music Instrument Digital Interface; a protocol designed for recording and playing back music on digital synthesizers, i.e. digital keyboards and also on the computer.
