Great music game. I owned both this and the Guitar Hero games. Rock Band is by far the better game in my opinion. Better music, controls, and gameplay.
What's great about it: Graphics, fun, great music, well made
What's not so great: nothing

If you like SF games, this is a must own. Best in the series by far in my opinion. Worth it just for the online play alone.
What's great about it: Gerat graphics, online, controls, same game you know and love...
What's not so great: Getting a match started can sometimes be a pain online.

Great music ... for the whole family

Dan Zanes is one of the few children's artists that seems to be more about making "family" music and not just kids music. I definately dont mind throwing the cd in when my daughter asks for "her music".
What's great about it: Music the whole family can enjoy (not just the kids)

Best rhythm game...

This is the first rhythm type game I have purchased. I highly recommend it. I have played Rockband 1 and 2, and I like GH:WT better.
They added drums and singing, online, more DLC, custumizations, etc.
Great fun by yourself or with friends.
What's great about it: Great fun. Finally can play drums and sing also.
What's not so great: Not as much DLC as Rockband.

Great RPG

Definately a great game so far. A few days of playing and I have not stumbled on any bugs that seem to be rumored.
The story seems interesting. Graphics are good. Fun gameplay. Highly recommend for adults (M rating).
People keep saying dont call it Elder Scrolls with guns. But basically... its Elder Scrolls with guns, but with a lot of enhancements too.
What's great about it: Graphics, story, rpg balance

Movie is disappointing... pass
on October 23, 2008

from St Louis, MO
First off, let me say I am a fan of M. Night Shyamalan. I think Mark Wahlberg and Zooey (forget her last name) have done good jobs acting in other movies.
However, this movie is extremely disappointing. Wahlberg and Zooey literally come off like their characters are mentally challenged at times. I dont mean that as an insult to people with mental disabilities. I mean, I was honestly wondering if their characters were supposed to be mentally challenged as part of the plot at times. I have talked to others that watched the movie and they said they wondered the same thing at parts.
I get the "idea" behind the movie. And yes, it is "interesting". But the direction of the film, acting, and writing were just not up to the usual qualities of all the people involved. And it falls very short of what it could have been.
Definately pass.
What's great about it: Unforunately not much. The "idea" of the movie is good.
What's not so great: Horrible acting (I am even fans of all the people in the film)

My wife is a huge fan of Remedy Drive. And we have been to see them put on a few shows. Great band in my opinion.
The cd is great. Production quality is much higher than their previous albums.
This is one of their best albums to date.
What's great about it: Great music that you would expect from Remedy Drive

What does the American Dream mean today? For Niko Bellic, fresh off the boat from Europe, it is the hope he can escape his past. For his cousin, Roman, it is the vision that together they can find fortune in Liberty City, gateway to the land of opportunity. As they slip into debt and are dragged into a criminal underworld by a series of shysters, thieves and sociopaths, they discover that the reality is very different from the dream. In a city that worships money and status, life is heaven for those who prosper and a living nightmare for those who don't. Developed by the superstar designers at Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto IV continues the exciting legacy of the Grand Theft Auto franchise.

Great story
on August 3, 2008

I was honestly not going to pick up this game because of the over the top language and adult themes. but i got a good deal on it.
the story line and writing is amazing. there is a lot of substance and not your typical game. graphics are great and the gameplay is really good as well.
Definately not for kids. Not only should kids not play it, they shouldnt be within ear shot or able to see the tv when an adult is playing.
If you are an adult and can get over the language and themes, its recommended. If you are a kid or that kind of stuff bothers you, avoid.
What's great about it: Great story, graphics, gameplay
What's not so great: extremely bad language and themes (over the top style)

I didnt expect a lot from the movie, however it was disappointing overall. Hillary Swank has a good performance, along with a few others. But some of the scenes are just akward. And the storyline could have used a bit more tweaking.
Not the worst movie ever, but could have been better.
What's great about it: Hillary Swank
What's not so great: Poor script, akward scenes with Connick Jr.
