Just received these and my initial impressions are that these are just okay.
First, on the positive side, the fit is excellent. They form a seal and stay in place. Connection seems good with no issues after first pairing. Build quality is pretty good and the case is probably the nicest I've seen. Haven't tested battery life yet but if it's as advertised that is a big plus.
Now, the big issue for me: sound quality. It's average at best. The sound is harsh and the bass while there is boomy not tight. I am going to order some comply tips and give them a run (why aren't they included already?!) and see if that improves things. Sound is passable for a gym headphone but for all of the marketing and hype from JLab about the drivers, I expected better. Jabra Elite Sports sound better as do the Gear IconX. If the comply tips fix things, I'll update my rating.
Overall, buy these for comfort, fit and battery life. Look elsewhere for sound.

My true rating is a 4.5. These are excellent truly wireless headphones and the best that I have used to date which includes, Bragi Dash, Onkyo, Samsung Gear IconX, Earin and Erato.
The sound quality is very good for true wireless. Better than everything but perhaps the Erato and slightly better than the Samsung. I would say that true wireless sound quality lags behind wired Bluetooth by quite a bit to date. The sound for example is not as good as the Bose Soundsport Wireless or the Jaybirds.
Fit is excellent. These stay locked in your ears and will not fall out. Only downside is they are large and can hurt after a while.
Bluetooth connection is rock solid. No dropouts like on the Bragi. Can walk clear across the gym with these. Battery life is very good. 3 hours per charge plus the charging case. Much better than the Samsung which gives you 90 minutes max (also the Samsung has a battery drain problem while in the case).
The fitness app is nice but I wish you could use those features offline and without your phone. Seems like the phone is needed for all of the key fitness features like VO2 max testing. That's too bad since I use these with my apple watch for running.
One caveat is that my first pair had an issue with the Bluetooth Smart Connection dropping in and out all the time. This caused the HR monitor to stop and required constant resets. I have exchanged them in hopes that I just had a bad pair.
Overall, these are the most polished true wireless buds out right now and these are an excellent choice for gym/exercise use. I can't see myself going back to wired BT headphones for the gym/running after experiencing these.

First off, I think these are the best sports wireless headphones out there. The sound is terrific and the fit is superb with fit being most important to me.
However, I am on my second pair and these are the NEW and improved versions. My first pair shorted out and died on my first run. It was clear that sweat got into the USB port and shorted the headphones even though the tab was shut. I am concerned that this will happen again. I thought Bose had fixed the issue with these new ones but I am not sure. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt on this but I hope this second pair lasts beyond a single run.

After several positive press reviews last week, I thought these may be a perfect alternative to overpriced BT headphones from Beats etc. The design and build quality are decent enough but the sound quality is very poor. My cheap amazon BT headphones from China sound better than these for less than half the price. The fit is not great either. While they claim that they stay in place, these would not survive a run. Very disappointed and will be returning them.

Like many others, I had been waiting years for these. Before Bluetooth went mainstream, I ran many miles with my old IE2s. I picked these up about a week after the new Freedom's so my thoughts are in comparison the Freedoms.
Sound quality is very good. They sound "bright" compared to many gym headphones and I actually appreciate the different sound profile Bose used after using so many "boomy" headphones over the years. Fit and comfort is very good. It's a nice change to not have to jam these into your ears to get good sound. My only caveat is that these do fall out of my ears after running for about 15 minutes. This never happened with my IEs so I assume it has something to do with the weight. That's a let down for sure. Design is fine. They're bulky and a little funny looking but its not a deal breaker. The comfort/fit makes up for it.
Ultimately, I chose the Bose over the Jaybird. While I think the Freedom's sound a bit better overall, the amount of effort required to get and maintain a stable fit in the Freedoms simply isn't worth the trouble. They require constant tinkering/fiddling and even then, they still may fall out. The Bose have so much less drama and still sound very good. This is a nice effort by Bose even if they are late to the party.
Free yourself from the tangle of wires on your morning run with these Jaybird Freedom wireless earbuds. Bluetooth capabilities connect easily to your phone or other compatible device, and the sweat-proof design offers comfortable wear even on long flights. These Jaybird Freedom wireless earbuds feature a metal inline remote for dependable use.
First off the sound js amazing. Best sounding Bluetooth headphones I have ever tried. Now the negative. Despite the smaller size these buds still slip out of my ears running. The weight of the module pulls them out. I have tried all combos of tips and fits with not luck. I had high hopes that this design would fix the fatal flaw with the bluebuds but for me at least it did not. I may keep them for the sound and non running activities but 200 is a lot for that.
