If you have any interest in Rush, I advise anyone to watch this well thought out and put together piece that talks about everything that deals with this timeless band. Very organized, good production, great detail to band and individuals surrounding the band(i.e. producers and record label representatives), and just what makes Rush...Rush. Not to mention other testimonials from other various artists to musicians such as Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins to Kirk Hammett of Metallica. You will not be disappointed with your purchase at all.
What's great about it: Everything is in Chronological order
What's not so great: Pfft...It's Rush. It's perfect
Join one of the 1990s most successful acts in their triumphant return to form in this exciting live performance for MTV Unplugged, presented on DVD from Columbia Music Video. Presented in standard 1.33:1 full-screen and including a choice of English Dolby Digital 5.1 or Stereo audio tracks, this remarkable unplugged performance will bring Alice in Chains fans into the performance as never before. Featuring instant chapter access to each of the 13 songs, a timeline, a complete discography, and a web link, fans will cherish this 1996 comeback performance by the band that brought us such memorable hits as "Rooster" and "No Excuses."
To any and all fans of Alice in Chains, this truly is an item that is worth having. The sound quality is great, especially during Cantrell's solos. The set list they play is perfect. And the way that Staley and Cantrell harmonize on some of those songs makes you wanting to wish that you could have been there to witness this live cause it was just simply amazing. From "Angry Chair" to "Would?" and everything in between, you will not be disappointed.
