It's Ok

Hmmmm, I have mixed feelings about this product. For the money, you can probably find something for less than half the price that does the same things just as well. It does do a great job grinding up nuts and seeds with the milling blade, but not if you put the nuts and seeds in with your fruit and veggies so making a smoothie with nuts and seeds involves a 2 part process. You have to use a lot of water to make a smoothie or it will be way too thick to drink, or it will get too stiff to drink if you don't chug it down immediately. If you have a juicer, you can use juice instead of water (now a 3 part process for a delicious smoothie, but since I recently got a juicer...). The cups are very wide and awkward so I can't imagine using the comfort lid things with handles to drink out of the cups. I only use the tall cup because of the amount of water you have to use. The most annoying thing about this is it's SOOOOOO SOOOOOO SOOOOO LOUD! The best thing about it is it's very easy to clean.
The smoothies are good, but I don't think it's worth anywhere near $100. The books that it comes with aren't anything special since you can easily find the same information and more online. I don't think they add any extra value at all. I would return it and try something else, but I got it for free with a best buy reward certificate so I figure I'll keep it since it doesn't take up a lot of space, it does make good smoothies with effort, and it's such a hassle dealing with best buy reward certificates. If I hadn't got it for the price of FREE, I would probably just return it and invest in a Vitamix machine. Like a lot of people, I got all excited by the infomercial, but it really is extremely overpriced and over hyped. Personally, I would value it at no more than $30.
What's great about it: Doesn't take up a lot of space, Fairly well made
What's not so great: LOUD LOUD LOUD AND LOUDER, Over priced
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Juicer

I have only used this twice, but so far for $49.98 on sale I am very happy with it.
The first time I juiced four small(ish) oranges and it made enough juice to fill the cup it comes with, annnnd it was as phenomenal as the fresh made OJ I got in Hawaii. Very little pulp and easy clean up just for that amount of juicing.
So then I decided to really put it to the test and this is what I juiced:
2 large cucumbers
10 cups of kale leaves
10 cups of spinach leaves
ginger root (about the size of my hand)
2 very small tomatoes (all I had)
6 medium sized carrots
4 whole medium green apples
12 very large strawberries
3 cups of cranberries
2 small containers of blackberries
1 1/2 to 2 lbs of red grapes
All of the above filled the pulp bin lined with a plastic shopping bag (not packed full either) and made 4 full quarts of juice.
I did not have to cut anything up. In comparison to the new Nutri Bullet or the Magic Bullet or a regular blender, this Hamilton juicer is so quiet. Though there are 6 parts to clean, 5 can all be wiped down with a little soap and rinsed very easy. The only part that involves work to clean is the juicing filter, which I soak for 5 minutes or so in Dawn Power Clean and hot water, and then it cleans very very easy with the scrub brush that is included. I also cleaned the juicing filter about half way through my above mammoth juicing experiment.
The only other juicer I owned before was the original Magic Bullet, which was extremely loud (so is the new Nutri Bullet), nearly impossible to get the juicing components really clean, and had a lotta lotta pulp. After a couple of months, the Magic Bullet was useless for juicing. The new Nutri Bullet is great for pulverizing nuts and seeds (dry), and great for making smoothies as long as you use a lot of water (otherwise they are too thick to drink). I plan on using the juice from this Hamilton juicer to make smoothies in the Nutri Bullet and I'm sure they will be perfect.
Anyways, for $49.98 on sale, I am very happy with the Hamilton Juicer. It's sturdy, very quiet for a kitchen appliance that pulverizes whole fruits and vegetables (especially in comparison to a regular blender or Bullet products), and the amount of pulp seems reasonable for the amount of juice I made. I think the key to less pulp is to keep the juicing filter clean, so if you're only making a small amount of juice at a time that should be no problem. Just make sure to soak the juicing filter if you can't clean it right away or to make it super easy to clean. I also find that lining the pulp bin with a plastic grocery bag really helps to keep clean up to a minimum. If you make smoothies, you can also think about using some of the pulp with the juice in your smoothies for even less waste.
I can say I like the juice I've made at home so far better than Jamba Juice. It's very healthy and will give you lots of energy. It was even so easy and delicious that it inspired me to write this very lengthy review. Good luck with your juicing adventures!
What's great about it: Quiet, Not a lot of pulp, Fairly easy to clean, HEALTHY, DEEELICIOUS & AMAZING JUICE
What's not so great: Nothing so far

Extremely Disappointing

I am so disappointed in this game. It is very difficult to understand how to play, which makes it impossible to unlock new worlds. There is only one world until you get good enough to unlock the others and the characters do not even speak English, which makes it worse. The game is nothing like the preview. It would be better if there were a training section or at least clear instructions in English. This is the last time I spend $50 on a wii game that does not have at least 10 reviews. Reviews have a way of being wiped out when it comes to overpriced wii games with misleading descriptions and previews.
What's great about it: I am trying to think of at least 1 thing, but drawing a blank
What's not so great: Characters do not speak English and no clear instructions on what the goal is or how to play the game

Yard Sale Quality

I wasn't expecting much for $40 and that's exactly what I got....not much. I have a 50" Panasonic plasma tv and a Samsung blueray player (both under 1 year old) and only the front speakers and subwoofer from this Coby set work. I would compare the sound to a single speaker radio from the 1970's...very distorted and twangy. Let's face it, that was annoying in the 70's too.
I have a small apartment so I did not want speakers that would blow the windows out, but these are just not worth even $40. I would pay $3 or $4 at a yard sale for them. They may be ok for laptop speakers, but I am going to return them and try to find something reasonably priced that's not going to prompt my neighbors to call the police due to rumbling walls, yet is pleasant to listen to. Also, I will definitely buy something with a remote. These Coby speakers have no remote and I can tell having to constantly adjust the volume when watching a movie will get old fast.
Good luck in your sound system quest, but you will probably be better off skipping this set even though they are dirt cheap. Unfortunately, you won't even get what you pay for with these.
What's great about it: Sadly, nothing at all
What's not so great: They are not even worth $40..distorted, twangy sound...

I L.O.V.E. THIS GAME!!! LOVE IT!

This is by far one of my most favorite games on wii (if not my favorite). It's like getting excited to play after school sports. I have been most surprised by how much i sweat and that I get sore like I do in a gym when trying new workouts. Be sure to try all of the games a few times because the games I think I will like the least end up being the ones I love the most. Sooooo fun and perfect for people who are not able to get outside during nasty winters. I also like that you have to get good enough to unlock the more difficult levels. This game definitely challenges you and motivates you to get moving in the most fun way. I hope nintendo comes out with more games like this that work with the balance board specifically.
What's great about it: I get really excited to play it. It makes exercise a BLAST! Who knew that was possible?
What's not so great: Nothing that I can tell. For $19.99 you cannot miss!

HORRIBLE MOVIE!

This movie was so bad that I could barely watch it all the way through. Bette Midler is one of my favorites and she was the only part of the movie that kept me watching, but still not nearly a great performance. Helen Hunt looked absolutely awful in this movie...really really bad. I wouldn't even be able to stand watching the preview for this one again.
What's great about it: NOTHING
What's not so great: EVERYTHING
