Built in DAC for High Resolution Music along with the ability to play MQA (Master Quality Authentication) recorded music, this unit has excellent sound. TIDAL, is just one of the streaming music services this Streamer/Server can accommodate. With a 2TB Capacity Hard Drive you can store a very large music collection. The player has a built in CD ripper which rips your files in FLAC one of the more preferred formats for streaming. Wonderful sound and a user friendly App (Android or OS) makes this unit worth the price. Highly Recommended

Bluesound NODE 2: This media player lets you wirelessly stream music to your speaker system via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. Ethernet, optical and analog audio inputs offer additional listening options. Learning IR controls let you use your existing remote.

Excellent Sound and Easy Set-Up. 24 bit files are terrific. My Node is accessing a music library of over 100K tracks and no problems have been encountered. A Peachtree Audio Nova 125 linked to KEF LS50 speakers make this an audiophile's dream system of exceptional value for the investment. Unlike the previous reviewer, I have experienced none of the disappointments they speak of. Is it worth the price, yes it is.

Great For Garmin Users

I use this mainly for cycling and must say it works very well. I also have the Garmin Edge 1000 and the ability to use my remote with both pieces of equipment is a really nice touch. I like the compact size. Be aware that the unit does not come with a mount for your bicycle. It is a twenty-five dollar option. I wish Garmin made a carrying case specifically for the Virb. As far as action cameras go I think it is on par with the Go Pro Hero Blacik.
What's great about it: Ability to interconnect with other Garmin devices
What's not so great: Cost

I use it in...:Large home
I have used Airport Extremes for several years in my home. I have a media closet where all my electronics and input/outputs reside. Because it is in one end of my home wireless signals have to travel some 300 feet to reach the opposite end and signal strength has always been an issue for media players (e.g. Apple TV). After installing the new Airport extreme the signal strength has climbed considerably throughout my home. Where my wife's iPad was registering one to two bars in the Master Bath and Bedroom it now is three bars.
While the price has increased from 179 to 199 the extra cost is more than justified for the improved performance. I also like the fact that the light is now the same size as the new airport express which is considerably smaller than the previous generation airport extreme.
I still have two additional airport extreme routers working as extenders but I am considering removing them and using one additional new airport extreme as a single extender. .
What's great about it: AC functionality and improved range extension
What's not so great: Shape is somewhat tall
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bluesound VAULT 2: Stream your favorite tracks, artists and playlists with this media player's Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections. A subwoofer output lets you connect directly to a woofer for a bumping low end.

Although there is a steep learning curve to fully grasp the system and apps, I am pleased with the capabilities and sound quality of Bluesound. I really love having my music available to me anywhere in my home via iPhone,iPad, or computer. I also found Bluesound support to be effective.

Audiophile Level Music Server

If you are looking for a really good sounding music streamer/server then look no farther than this unit from Bluesound. Recently they upgraded their software to include Master Quality Authentication (MQA) which means that when TIDAL begins streaming their titles using MQA decoding you will hear the closest thing to "being there" that the music industry can provide to date. Extremely easy to rip your CDs and to load the 2Tb internal hard drive with music files of almost any format. You will need either a preamp or an integrated amplifier to play your files directly from the Vault 2. Bluesound has an excellent App that can be downloaded in either Android or OS. Beyond the Vault 2, I also have the PowerNode 2 which is excellent in its own right.. With the built-in DAC and the ability to play Hi-Rez music files you would have to look hard to locate a better server for the money. Highly Recommended.
