Awful for custom built computers

I got this adapter and was excited to put it to the test with our new wireless internet in my apartment. I spent about an hour of my own time trying to get it to detect from the CD and it didn't work. I spent another hour on tech support for them to tell me that it doesn't work on computers with over 4 gigs of RAM. That's ridiculous, is what i said to them. If you have a custom build computer with over 4 gigs of RAM, DO NOT BUY.
What's great about it: Looks good, and probably works really well.
What's not so great: Doesn't work on computers with over 4 gigs of RAM.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
