The Bosch Integra Ascenta is as quiet as advertised. The hidden control panel is a nice feature as well. The beeping people allude to/are annoyed by in other reviews is a by-product of just how quiet it is: Unless you stand next to the dishwasher while it moves through its entire cycle, there are only 2-3 times during its cycle that you would know it is on. The beeps at once it finished are not that hard to deal with - open the dishwasher door and close it. End of beeps. End of story.
You should rank three specific shortcomings of this dishwasher against your needs: 1) In order to outfit the Bosch with all the noise dampening it has, the interior of the dishwasher is much smaller. So be prepared to use it more often. This may be a big deal if you have a large family. My last dishwasher (Whirlpool) made more noise but held far more plates and glasses. The Bosch also has a hard time accommodating large frying pans and cooking sheets. 2) In today's age of Energy Star appliances, they take away something in order to make it energy efficient. In this case it is the food grinder feature. You must clean your plates and glasses entirely before putting them into the dishwasher. Other reviews complain the Bosch didn't remove the food from their plates, but if they had read the manual - and they mention it in the manual - there is say something about this.
The last point is nitpicky: 3) You will go through rinse aid more than you used to. At least I did. Again, with my Whirpool this wasn't happening. Truthfully it is not much of a big deal. But you will be ponying up a few more dollars every month at the grocery store.
If you can live with these Bosch specific features, this is the dishwasher for you. Just do your research to avoid any surprises.

I really wish more movie studios would get on the non-Ultraviolet bandwagon. Downloading the digital copy of Skyfall was a snap. Within 3 minutes of having the package open it was downloading to my computer and syncing across devices. Awesome. Thanks Columbia/Sony for recognizing what consumers what in the digital age and responding thusly.

Imagine, my most difficult decision was which color Belkin snap shield case to purchase. I settled on a smoky grey that accented the silver backing of the ipad. Maybe that's what Belkin wants you to focus on instead of the quality of product, which is shoddy. Mine was cracking within a few days of use. And that was use with kid gloves. No throwing around of ipads here! By the end of month one every corner of the shield was cracked, and by month two it was coming detached from the ipad on a regular basis. Boo, Belkin. Boo.

I love the comfort and fit of these headphones. I have owned many other brands (Sony, LG) and the common complaint was too tight a fit around the ear. Felt like a clamp around the ears. Not the Beats headphones. Fits so nicely without any pressure felt on the skull.
My only knock is the noise cancelation feature. It goes in and out. The lightest tap against the condenser sends it all awry too. Not sure if my issue is due to a product defect. When noise cancelation is of there are zero issues so I am chalking up to shoddy design. But otherwise, a gem of a product.
