I took my teen-age daughter to see this movie right after Thanksgiving. While she was familiar with Beatles music this movie brought her a whole new appreciation. The actors proved up to the difficult task of working with near sacred songs. I liked this film because it managed to cross several genres; protest film, road trip, buddy film, musical and love story. While this movie will not be nominated for any academy awards, it was nonetheless a very enjoyable work. I bought the soundtrack within hours of seeing the movie and have found it to be great road music. Bono's version of "I am the Walrus" was excellent as was Joe Cocker's "Come Togethor" and Prudence's "I Want to Hold Your Hand." A visually enjoyable movie, but concentrate more on the music. All the actor's did their own singing and they succeeded in producing some fine new renditions of classic Beatles hits.
What's great about it: Great Voices, Great Visuals
