Help kids learn how to code with this Osmo Coding Awbie game. The building-block design lets kids use problem-solving and logic skills to explore coding commands, and the onscreen character Awbie makes the learning process fun. Kids can learn to program their own iPads with this Osmo Coding Awbie game.

Good but my son quited it quickly
on July 25, 2017

It's good. Good quality materials, nice app.
The problem is that my son forgot it very quickly. Just spent may be a couple of days 30 minutes each day and that's it.
I was hoping that it can keep him longer and actually teach coding, but for some reason, he is not using it. I was not sure about "coding" during purchase but sales consultant convinced me, apparently, i was right, it's more "marketing" than "coding"

Great product for kids
on July 25, 2017

It's actually quite unique product. I'm following them since Indiegogo campaign, guys did a lot of work to end up in the Best Buy. They are focusing too much on the kids for my mind. This is a great product for the kids but we found that it's great for adults as well. The only problem is that we can watch it only if kids are sleeping or out of the house. I'm techier than my wife and like cool functions of the product: its really light (i mean very light), fanless (no noise at all), has a keystone correction (looks very good), long battery life. My wife doesn't care about functions at all, she is just happy that kids like it and busy.
Pros:
- no cables. It can work itself, so there is no need for cables and any wireless connection to your computer. This is really good for kids. For other projectors which I need to pair with computer, they tend to focus on computer and not on the movie
- design. It's subjective, I like it. Never seen anything like that in projectors.
- no fan. I simply did not know that it's possible before I see it.
- light and durable. Especially important as we travel a lot and kids are taking care too much
Cons
- it's not good on sunny days. Simply do not expect big screen during the bright sunny day.
- Mic is not in use. Device has mic but for some reason there is no use of it anywhere. I would love to use it to hear what happens next to my little one.
- I can not mirror iPhone. It's true for all projectors as far as I know. I can upload my content into the device but would be much easier just to AirPlay it.
Overall it's a great device. I like it, my family likes it and kids are not giving it to me when they awake. I think it's good.
