Don't trust the hype

I did some research on this phone and it seemed solid so I was excited to get this phone everyone seemed to rave about. I had a Moto x second generation I loved that phone but the camera could have been better. I will start by saying what I like about g5 plus is the texting format, the phone is pretty I like the forward facing camera as well as the look of videos other than that this phone is horrible. Things I don't like that may seem minor but over time it could become bothersome like not having a photo gallery leaving Google your only source for pictures. If you try to get Moto g gallery app this phone is not compatible so forget it.The rear camera is unbelievably flat and washed out sometimes the picture comes out half clear and half blurr. Another huge problem is people complaining about me sounding as if I'm under water while I hear them perfectly fine. Google maps gives a wrong directions or completely freeze. It lags big time it's very slow even on 4g I'm use to getting a page as soon as i hit search. It constantly crashes my phone has gone completely black several times.T he speaker sounds like it's on the lowest level when at maximum sound. Recordings look good but has a lot of background noise . A lot of people want this phone for the camera trust me the pictures are heavily filtered and sometimes blurry. It's odd that when you capture the picture it looks great until it changes to the final resolution. If you don't believe my complaints are valid Google it and you will find identical and consistent complaints. No phone is perfect but it at least should be functional for talking .
