Great Bang for your Buck

I'm truly impressed with this laptop.
I sold my Gaming Desktop with an i7-6700, GTX 980 (Not TI), and 8GB Ram. While wasn't the greatest, it played all of my games just fine at High-Ultra. However, Battlefield 1 wasn't the smoothest game on Ultra and had to be toned down.
After selling that a while back and recently my MacBook Pro, I wanted a gaming computer. Portability is important to me. However, laptop and gaming aren't always the best combinations.
Needless to say, I was blown away at how powerful this laptop was. I play Battlefield 1 on Ultra with a locked 60FPS and play around 70-90FPS without a locked FPS. I even play Overwatch on Epic settings reaching between 100-120FPS on average when the FPS is unlocked as well.
Mentioning locked FPS for those who aren't aware, this laptop includes G-SYNC which helps smooth out graphics. Games lock the game to 60FPS max to help keep the game running as smooth as possible!
I was scared to know that the GTX 1060 3GB in this laptop wasn't going to be enough and was itching for the 6GB. Though after reading a lot of reviews of the GPU, the 3GB was usually only running 2-5FPS less than the 6GB model in most modern games. IMO, 6GB is only necessary for those insane graphic games that not everyone plays. This GPU is completely capable of playing High-Ultra settings on all of the newer games.
The one downside is the laptop does get a bit hot. You don't feel it when you're gaming unless you put your hand in the space between the monitor and keyboard. It's nothing crazy hot either. But definitely warm to the touch. The fans also kick on and are a bit loud too. However with headphones and/or sound, you won't really notice it. It's a thin laptop gaming on Ultra settings, it's expected for all of this. From what I've read, and this goes for most gaming laptops, if you reinstall Windows without all of the bloat ware you will be able to push out a bit more power from the laptop.
All in all, $1,050 well spent on a sale.
I would highly recommend this laptop to anyone who's a casual gamer looking to play on Ultra settings at 1080p.
